Having grown up in Syracuse NY, I can't say I'm impressed but it does bring back many happy childhood memories of snow days & building massive snow forts. Stay home & enjoy it.

I’m up in Canada, we’re usually frozen solid right now. We’re wearing T-Shirts outside, hottest March in history. Two provinces away they have 6 feet of snow.

I live in upstate NY. These pictures don't seem too extreme for what we call winter. Not so much last several years but every 8 to 10 this is considered normal it's only a day or two. Nothing to go nuts about
@mekelarje10 ай бұрын
i cant imagine upstate NY snow amounts to that of the sierras...let alone more? A lot of these areas got 10+ feet of snow in the end and thats just from this ONE storm, is that common for upstate NY too? I've never heard of that happening there. This area of Cali is also known as one of the snowiest places in the country

The thing is that these people are not accustomed to this weather. They don’t make this preparations for winter as areas where snow is expected. I don’t think anyone is comparing it to other places. Everything is relative.
@Betonrg10 ай бұрын
You must check online how much snow the sierra gets each year. There is no a place in the midwest or east to compare. Just the rockies and maybe. The sierra is considered one of the snowiest place in the hemisphere. Check videos of years ago. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZXTpHl8rbSXic0si=9n9_2xPa2tOzf4hi
