The negative comments are so ridiculous. The reason why most “KZbin moms” post pristine videos of their perfect homes is because they are paid to do so or sponsored by a company. You would probably be shocked if you saw their “real life” home, but that will never happen because they put on a show for KZbin. Her house might be more untidy than most, but at least she is being HONEST. I have 3 small kids and I’m 8 months pregnant. I still get it done but it’s exhausting. She is showing you real life. Not a cookie cutter life.

This is the messiest I've seen her house. Usually somewhat messy, but not like this. If we had a house, with kids in it, it would be messy too. (Just have very small apt) wish we had a house so it could get messy; I do most of the cleaning anyways. First thing I thought when I saw this was maybe they went camping and had just come back. Soo No worries. She does a great job cleaning and having kids and hubby help too. One reason why I like her. misss having my sis/bro's kids over, our dog, grandma ... with me and ma. Full house, messy house. House full of Love

Please don’t take what I’m about to say the wrong way it’s just a suggestion that worked for me. I am older now and my daughter’s are grown and married with there own families. When they were growing up I worked a full time job and came home and did my other full time job as a wife, mother and managed our household budget and bills. My mother always had a immaculate home and I learned things from her that worked for me. In the laundry room I made 4 colored containers for laundry and labeled them. I showed my children what laundry went in each container and every time they had dirty laundry they would each take it to the laundry room and sort it. Me and my husband sorted our laundry too. This saved a lot of time so I could come home and start a load of laundry I set my phone on a timer to start a new load every hour. I usually did 3-4 loads a night I would fold the laundry while the kids played or did homework. As the kids got older they would help me fold which made it a lot faster. I had baskets for each kid/adult to put their laundry away before bath time. I felt when we were on a schedule we had more time to do other things. Teaching the kids to help gives them responsibilities and they learn a lot by doing things on their own. We deep cleaned the house usually on Saturday mornings it would usually take 3-4 hours because we kept up on keeping the house cleaned daily and put things away every night before bedtime. We always had house rule that if you get something out you put it away we’re it goes before you start the next project, game, or etc. it makes things easier. I was usually the last one to go to bed because I liked staying up late. I would make sure the house was clean, lunches made, and clothes were ready for the next day, before I went to bed each night. When the kids got older they would each take on a separate daily chore like vacuuming dusting or etc which helped out so much. We would give them a weekly allowance as long as their chores were completed. We always gave them a good allowance and they would save their money for special things they wanted. I helped them each get a child’s saving acct and they watched their money grow and they put Birthday money or other gift money in their account. Each child was different one loved to spend her money on girly things and save half, one saved hers and only used a few dollars a week, and the other would save hers for a bit then go buy a video game or go to a movie, but for the most part they all did a good job saving money. The whole process taught them how to help out and earn money doing it. They also learned the value of money and saving money for a rainy day. We called it rainy day money and explained to them that it was there if they found something special that they really wanted to by or do. We talk about it now that they are older and they all said they liked being able to have their own money to buy what they wanted instead of having to wait for Christmas. 😂 We had a neighbor girl that never did any chores at all and her parents worked full time. She never even did dishes, vacumn day, or took out the trash. I felt sorry for her because she never learned how to clean house or even do any kind of work. When you teach your children at a young age to help you with things around the home it’s good for them it gives them structure and discipline.

Everyone's different. Some women don't have 4 kids. Some women have more time to clean. To some, just a few dishes in the sink might make them feel like their house is dirty. Some women cannot stand even small messes in their house. To them. its like a huge mess. To them, It is "real' life. I used to be neat freak too. That's before I had 3 kids, a husband, and a dog to clean up after. Now I've learned that it wont hurt to let a few dishes sit in the sink overnight, or a load of laundry to stay in the dryer for a day or 2. I'm also teaching our kids how to help clean the house and do the laundry. That's a big help! I definitely can relate with this mom. But I can also relate with the neat freaks too. Lol! Anyways, it was a great cleaning video, and I just subscribed!

Such a satisfying video! For laundry organisation, have one dirty clothes basket in the main bathroom, if you change your clothes, dirty one should be put straight into that big basket, enforce this rule with your kids so they know the one place everything goes. Do two loads of laundry, one light colours (including whites), one darker (including blacks), clothes literally never change colour, if you're worried about something running, either put it in wuth darkest or do it separately. When clothes are done in the dryer, again put them all in one basket ready for ironing which you can do whenever you have free time. It's a simpler way that doesnt complicate your life, it helped my parents stay easily on top of laundry, we still do this same method as adults except we have our own basket in our rooms for ironing!

Well Laura you did the work of a trogen there well done. I can totally identify with your house, it’s a lovely home by the way. I spent three months clearing my house the Marie Condo style, and wow it helped me so much, you would love her videos. It’s an emotional experience for some letting go, but I felt it helped me let go of the clutter and tiredness I was feeling trying to keep the house in order. Three kids worth of life long stuff like clothes, books and left overs from apartments they didn’t need anymore, and then my own parents left behinds left me overwhelmed with STUFF. I used Marie Condo method on utube and cleared my whole house over three months. My mental health improved, my tiredness left, I slept better and in past few years have kept my house that way with no effort. Thank you for your beautiful self. Keep making those videos 💖

I used signs in all my rooms for my husband and children too! Like in my master bedroom bathroom, there was a sign that said "your mother doesn't live here, clean up your own darn mess! " and over the toilets throughout the house, "piss on my toilet seat and not clean it up and you will meet God"... These work so well! My two boys and husband towed the line... I also had signs to let my boys know if I have to spend the whole day cleaning up after them we are not going anywhere, and we are not going to be having any fun...teaching my children to read with hooked on phonics , and now with your baby can read - there is no reason for the monsters not to tow the line! Nice to see another mother doing they same! Sure beats yelling all the time!

I used to work for a woman named Betty ware, ( may she rest in peace,) Betty had found out her husband cheated on her so she filed for divorce and hung that paper on the headboard at her husbands eye level, so whenever he's on top of her he knows one more time and Betty's outta here! She forgave him, stayed divorced for 25 years before remarrying him in their old age. Betty used to pay me in $1000 bills that were frozen together...I miss her tons! She is the one who taught me to use signs around my house instead of yelling

Love the laundry room! All that storage! Also, the sign in it is my new most favorite thing.

Started watching your video by chance, and wow I loved it! Love your home, Love it that you're a real mom and not a skinny model, loved your system (I mean just the way you do things and the order of your cleaning), loved seeing your sweet son helping out and coming for hugs, and thank you for helping me peel lots of potatoes for dinner - I did it all sitting watching your video :) Keep up the good work!

You have the coolest washer! Mine is okay but I get impressed with useful appliances which have what I wish for on their "dashboards." I appreciate the reality you show as my home is small, modest and a little old. It is not palatial or ultra-modern and it gets cluttered and dirty with our family's use. Thank you for your candor as it makes me feel better about not having a showcase-like home. And I can be proud of what I do to make it comfortable and reasonably clean.

Would love to see a organize/ declutter of all the laundry room cupboards.... may even help prevent the room getting to this point again if there is a place for everything to be put away instead of being a drop of room. Do love your videos.

That's what I was thinking as well, the reason people have trouble keeping things clean is the sheer amount of things they own, and also having so many shelves and knick knacks on display is so hard to dust and organize and keep clean, I don't know how people do it.
@nicholemaclean18885 жыл бұрын
I think you’re right. It’s overwhelming when you don’t know where to put things. Anything in the house should be assigned a home. This was fun to watch though 😊

I remember the days when I could clean a house like you do young lady. I used to do it all in one day and make dinner at the end!!. I didn't have kids so it was easier and I had OCD bad back then. Now due to back surgery and various other parts getting orthopedics surgeries it takes all day for me to clean my bedroom and the bathroom if i gave been good and kept up after myself lol. I can't let it get dirty or messy in the first place or OCD kicks in and I wind up hurting myself. Lol. At one point in my life I swore I could rebuild the world with just a shoe and a butter knife. Now I am lucky if I can put that shoe on the right foot without falling over, and remember what I came into the kitchen for while on a mission for said butter knife. You would expect these things in an 80 yr old an up. Young.lady I am only 57. Lol. Loved watching your video. God bless and stay safe.
