My husband was infantry for the first 3 yrs of our marriage and I swear nobody except military spouses understands that military is unpredictable on when they get home. Sometimes my husband would be home at 3pm sometimes 10pm.

I love reading. I had to get rid of some because my husband told me they are too much with moving. We’ve rented a few times then built a house. I would hate to get used to a house, then have to move. Home is beautiful. I dealt with depression, but got on mediation and it really helped me. Leave other walls white. Looks great like that.

Yes moving with books is hard but I love reading a good book so my husband deals with it he’s the one who wants to add more bookshelves and he’s even buying books he’s interested in so we can read together. Our weight limit when moving is going to cry haha but yeah moving can stink but also fun with new adventure

Laundry room looks great, since you’ll be moving in the next few years I’d just add 2 more of the same bookshelves you have already or maybe some other halfway up the wall type of storage cabinet or bookshelf but not something permanent furniture you can take with you when you move. Can’t wait to see more of your videos and upcoming projects!

Great job on the laundry room having everything to hand will make life so much easier and absolutely loving the accent wall colour you did a fab job choosing that, I painted the guest room last week ( well hubby did most ha! ) all 4 walls and hate it so off to buy more paint this weekend but I’m rubbish at choosing and there is always too much choice but hopefully this time I will get it right. I would add one or two more shelves like you have already! You can def take them down when it’s time to move and take it w you versus leaving a built in and kinda throwing away your $ when it is time to leave/move!

Honestly set timers or turn on a song and get what you can done done in that time or figure out when you have the most energy and do it then. Do a little each day and it will help you be able to maintain your house instead of deep cleaning every time which takes hours, an hour a day is all you need 😊

Hey Justine I am not sure how much walking space is between the desk and shelves but... What about a horizontal bookcase to go in between the 2 wall mounted ones you have? It would give you the storage, work because you'll be moving, and not break the bank... I would repaint the areas in the laundry room and add another shelf higher for more storage and be done. .This is not your forever home and you'll be leaving soon so no need to do all that for the next owner's enjoyment and not yours!! I would just leave it with one accent wall. It's hard because you like to diy/decorate, yet you're going to be moving in a couple of years? Would probably put my time and money into furniture and such that can move with you.

Hi Justine! Jw, can you not put your pots and pans in your dishwasher? I hardly ever hand wash items.

It ruins the teflon coating to make them non stick if you put them in the dishwasher and then all the food will normally start sticking. And I don’t eat high fat food so mine gets crusted on there
