To everyone who wants to know what cupping is and how it works: When a muscle is sore, tense, or just plain overworked, it has a hard time pushing old blood out so it sort of stagnates in the muscle. And the fascia in the body has a habit of wanting to stick to itself causing more pain to build by not allowing your muscle to move properly. When you apply a cup to the affected area, the cup creates suction and pulls that old blood out and allows fresh blood to come into the muscle and start repairing itself. And with fascia, it helps break up all the sticking together. These cups are used when you use a suction pump. Thats why they are hard plastic and have those nubs on the top. There's also fire cupping, which uses a glass cup and heat to create the suction. Both of these aren't really meant to be moved around, just placed in the affected area. Silicone cups however, are a lot more flexible. With silicone cups, you can leave them placed like in this video, or move them around as they're suctioned to your body. Using silicone cups is my preferred way to cup clients as some of them don't want the marks that are left, but still need that deep muscle treatment. Cupping is fantastic, but can hurt you if you leave them for too long, or have them too tight. I always recommend giving cupping a try if you know a massage therapist or physical therapist who knows how to do it properly. It can make you feel so much lighter and take away that deep ache that can settle into overworked muscles.

To my knowledge, sore muscles are very tiny damaged muscle fibers which need time regenerate. Blocked bloodflow would lead to the muscle tissues death
@alchemistcannon3 жыл бұрын
@@stropex2165 you're right that it's damaged tissue fibers, but I'm not saying there's blocked blood flow. I'm saying it sort of stagnates in a way. As in, the oxygen rich blood has a very hard time actually getting down into the a capillary beds. So the muscle starts to become oxygen-starved. I'm not saying your blood is clotting in the actual muscle, just that the nutrients can't reach as well or as far into the muscle to start repairing those damaged fibers

Maybe it’s wrong wording, but the point of cupping is to stimulate and enhance blood flow. You only break the blood vessels right below the skin. When it heals, your body generally tends to feel more energised. I wouldn’t recommend using heat to do the cupping if not experienced, but rather use manual air pumps.

The circles go away after a short while, not to mention, they aren't there to look pretty but for actual pain relief, just because you've never needed any treatments for pain relief it doesn't mean that nobody else has

@@tadbitahistory9828 I wasn’t talking about the red circles on his back! I have trypophobia and just looking at all the cups on his back trigger it, I have nothing against cupping but it looks hideous, also don’t assume I’ve never needed treatment for actual pain relief! The audacity 🙄

@@newportition You still haven't proved anything, you for one, did not have to say it looked hideous. You made no actual point and then finished that statement with the same thing you said in your original comment. Then you feel the meed to talk to me about audacity.

Cupping Therapy; Its is mentioned in Hadith Number 5680 in Bukhari that was narrated by Ibn Abbas(R.A) in which Prophet(SAWS) said there is healing in three things, A gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire. But Prophet(SAWS) forbid us to use branding with fire.

One time, I had an archery set with those plastic arrows, me and my uncle got bored and stuck them on our heads bc we wanted to be unicorns, I took it off and there was a HUGE red circle in my head, so I told my mom it hurled and I didn’t go school, but even after that one day it was still there, so when I did go to school, there was just a red circle. Luckily, my mom realised that she can put some power on it so we got out of the car (just as I was going to class) and she grabbed some power from her bag and some foundation (I think) and she quickly covered it up. And no one at school ever knew!
