My team absolutely rolled a comp game today because I just called out when I was gonna hack and EMP as Sombra so we capitalized on every single one. I'm in gold, so comms are even more useless at those ranks. Imho, the addition of the ping system has made comms less of a requirement and more of a bonus (if useful comms are happening)

Comms are useful if they are rare and simple. If your trying to com it is almost always the case that you are expending too much attention on it. Attention is an extremely valuable resource in overwatch. The return on investment from comms in ranked is almost always going to be lower than if you didn’t come and focused on your play. Coms as a tank should be infrequent and efficient. Very 30 seconds or so, something like “gonna dive here” is useful. Or the rare “nano here” Also, below masters, the second you say anything in team chat or voice, you have a small chance to instantly lose the game because someone on your team decides they don’t like you.

Fr. Before he was buffed he was still cheap but there were better DPS options. Now he has a really good gun, ON TOP of the 0-skill homing missile that simply deletes every hero in the game apart from main tanks.

I don't know if we need a CC ability that takes away the ability to play the game, but something that slows down a target to help land a headshot would be dope. The only "difficult" part of playing Ball is when you are just starting out and are learning how to grapple without being instantly stopped by a wall collision. The slam does an instant 100 damage which knocks players up to combo into shooting them, the ult gets so many kills I refuse to believe people don't think the bombs are health packs, and just pressing E makes you far tankier than Doom could ever even hope to be. The single advantage Doom has over ball is being able to stun, but that's really only useful for denying channeled ults rather than securing kills.

@@ChimpRevolution Getting enough height for a slam is relatively simple, as long as there's a little high ground, or you can use the payload on certain maps. Ball imo is a little mechanically harder than Doom, but once you pass the skill floor his actual effectiveness is much greater than Doom.

Bc the Cass aren't really doing anything with his ult, if ZBRA knock him there's a possibility that the Cass rolls, and the Mercy heals him to 50% health in an instant.

The real answer is that he has more chance to kill him with full headshots on him while he's standing still than punching him and having him to try to kill him while he's straffing and getting healed. Also if he tried to punch him off the map the cass might just cancel and roll away, so saving his cooldowns and trying to go for easy headshots is a good call, gotta have an awareness of your team and trust they dont peak the high noon
