Extreme Flight 114" Slick 580

It seems like each time I flew the new 114" Slick, the more I like it! It's pretty incredible what the capabilities are of this airplane for a true 40%er. There are many tendencies that remind me of the 120cc Slick while still having the floaty feel of any other 170cc airplane. Designed for a 150-170cc engine, I decided to go with the DA-170 with MTW RE3 tuned pipes. Remaining setup:
MKS HBL3850 servos
Falcon 31x12 prop
Spektrum DX-20
Spektrum 20 channel Powersafe DSMX RX
Pulse 2S 5000mah RX packs
Tech Aero IBEC

Just from watching I agree with you on how much this airframe can do....the size of what we used know 40%ers to be, 114-118" (not the 42% 122-126" we see now) but the 40%ers of the past could NOT thrash around like this ! This is an epic model...great work as always, Jase.

Question for you Jase, I have the 60" slick. I haven't maidened it yet. I have 4 Hitec 7245MGs on it with the airboss elite 80a ESC. Should I be using an external BEC with that? Or is the Airboss' BEC sufficient?

Depends on the amperage of the bec. Probably should be at least 10amp

Tnx I ask the question again: an airplane without dihedral, does the induced roll occur if only the rudder command is given? The theory says that the induced roll occurs due to the difference in speed of the two wings (a plane with negative dihedral if you give yaw on the left, roll on the right, so it should be the dihedral that makes the plane roll, right?)
