Nice - thanks for the realistic review for 3D flyers. I have been considering a 48" for winter! Looks like it flies pretty good!

Exceptional video! Do you use some kind of flight stabilizer? like the "gyro"?

Nope no gyro in any of my 3D planes

Hey, man, are you in Florida? Looks like a Florida sunset. If so, we need to go burn a few packs.

Silly question: do you have to use a separate pack for your Rx? I have the 60 EF Edge 540 and my flying pack feeds my Rx as well. Thanks for your time and nice video!
@millerrc58293 жыл бұрын
I'm assuming you use either a airboss or talon 90 esc if that's the case the internal bec outputs only 6v I use 8.4 v servos so internal bec's in most esc's don't put out enough voltage to run hv servos so you use either an separate battery or a separate bec that you adjust to run on 8.4v

@@millerrc5829 Thank you so much for the explanation. Nice plane, I'm on the waiting list since they are out of stock.
@millerrc58293 жыл бұрын
@@FRamirez1A yep they sell out fast. Although I would honestly recommend a 52 in airframe I can fit a 52in slick580 in my car without taking the wings off. And because bigger flies better the 52in to me is a better way to go.

@@millerrc5829 Thanks for the advice!!!. I actually own few big planes, but sometimes I just don't have time to go to the field so a small frame is perfect to just throw and have fun in the local park (I'm not brave/good enough to fly my 60 EF edge other than at the club LOL) thanks again!!! Happy holidays.

Great videos 👍🏻! Dumb question. On a regular flat spin, going down, full ailerons, to rudder, & add elevator, correct? (Either I'm not doing something right, or my 3d planes won't flat spin!). I appreciate any help!

May I ask you kindly to tell us the all up weight including and excluding your flight packs? I have the same plane now and I come to 1260 gram without the pack but I can’t get de cg right. Is yours level behind the wing tube or on it? Kind regards, Dennis

how you plug the seperate rx pack for servos ?

Just plug it into a separate channel on your receiver.

Hi, Very nice videos that you make, subbed. Have you tried a edge as well? I want to use some existing hardware out of a tuned foamy. Do you know the real all up weight of this plane? I did not decide yet if I want the extra or the edge. Kind regards, Dennis
@millerrc58294 жыл бұрын
Howdy thanks for the subscription. No I have not flown an edge yet but I have heard and read on several forums,that the edge is the very best at post stall maneuvers like harrier's and hovers. However it dosent spin as fast as an extra or mxs. I never weighed mine its plenty light for this size airframe. Thanks

@@millerrc5829 with spin you mean knife edge spins or blenders? Or do you mean roll? Kind regards, Dennis
@millerrc58294 жыл бұрын
@@DennisCamps i don't know where I said spin in the video if you could put the time when I said it i could be more specific im assuming I meant KE spin.
@DennisCamps4 жыл бұрын
@@millerrc5829 you didn’t say it in the video. You said it when you answered my question regarding edge vs extra
@millerrc58294 жыл бұрын
@@DennisCamps ok srry my bad yes I do mean KE spins and blenders. I'm guessing its going to roll about the same one thing I do recommended if you want the max effect out of your control surfaces is to seal the hinge gaps especially the ailerons if you have never done it before you will be surprised to how well it improves the control.
