During the pandemic, I repurposed my Bath and Body Work candle jars. I put the jars in the freezer for 20 minutes and used a butter knife to remove the wax. I was not going to melt them in hot water. For example, giving them a water bath 😂 I think that way is messier, in my opinion. So, I filled up the sink with hot water and dawn soap and let it remove the remnants of wax and the label. I bought different types of scented epsom salts and put them in the candle jars. I made at home spa baskets for my friend's and dropped them off at the door and ran 🏃‍♀️ 😂😂. I store q tips and eyepads as well. You did a great job by the way! It's super hot over here in Southern California. With that being said, I couldn't handle the weather in Florida 😅❤

I might have to try the freezer trick! I love all your ideas. I really didn't want to throw them out, and those are great ways to repurpose the jars! ❤️ The humidity is what gets me the most. Thankfully, living near the coast helps. It gets much worse inland towards Disney. 🥵

We have to keep our garage under control because we park in it everyday. Yes we do store and have things in here but it's all on the sides. Plus this is our laundry room and furnace. I've heard freezing the jars for the wax

Boil water and put the jars in the water and let it the wax come up that's how you get it up

Candles in freezer and the wax will pop right out most of the time.

I enjoyed your clean out! However, I was wondering why you’re not putting the kids shoes in their closets. they’re going to be throwing them out on the floor to find what they want so I’m not sure this will work in the long run.. I guess we’ll see

We keep their shoes in the garage mainly because of all the sand. We don't wear shoes in the house, so it's just natural to take them off at the door. So far, they've done a good job with putting them back in the crates 🤞🏻❤️
