I whole heartedly agree that less is more for the skin. I went through a phase where I would follow like a 5 step skin care plan daily and it made me look withered. A simple cleanse is usually enough for me. When I notice dryness I exfoliate and moisturise. And when it’s clogged I use a clay mask to get out the impurities. It’s so much better to be led by your skin rather than the other way round.

Hii, could you share what products you use to exfoliate and moisture? The weather where I live has been changing drastically (from really cold weather to it being as hot as summer on its worst days 😭) so my skin is REALLY dry. I typically use hyaluronic acid and my moisture cream to keep hydrated, but this isn’t enough right now, everyday I have flakey skin and it hurts. I want to exfoliate but I’m scared to use something that will be really rough for my skin.

@@karlaczc I use dermalogica daily superfoliant (although I don’t actually use it daily). It’s pricey but great and will last you a while depending on how often you plan to use it. I also use derma-planing blades to get rid of really dry skin. Obviously be careful with that. I then follow it with some moisturiser - Cerave. Hope that helps xx

​@@karlaczctry adding a layer of 4 drops face oil and then aloe vera gel, on top of your hyaluronic acid serum and before your moisturiser. I have eczema and this is what I do. No more skin soreness or flaky dry patches. I use Nivea pink grapefruit scrub once a week to exfoliate, evening. Nivea pink grapefruit face wash the other days, evening. Each of these products on their own is enough to get my makeup off, I don't double cleanse. Mornings I use Simple miscella face wash. Hope your skin calms down soon

Hi esthetician here!! If you use the skin spatula with the larger flat side facing your skin you can use to infuse any hydrating serums you have and it will helped it penetrate deeper into the skin! Also good job on your facial this is pretty much what a basic facial consists of

As an esthetician who uses high frequency wands ALL the time, i love that you did it so correctly! The tapping technique for pimples is called sparking (since yk it kinda sparks a bit when you lift it off). So good for you for clearly educating yourself before just zapping your face off haha

Beautician here, if you twist the spatula in a different way (peeling cavitation) and run over the mask/serum, it will help in the absorption of products. Lymphatic drainage is naturally made by your body during moving (aggressive walk can save you a lot money on lymphatic massage). Lots love from Poland 🥰
