Just to be sure everyone knows: 5:03 isn’t a whistle at all. It’s a beautiful supported register called “head voice”. You can hear it also from her beautiful vibrato. I don’t know why everyone is obsessed with whistle tho 😅

Yep, definitely head voice, the whistle register doesn't start until the mid to upper 6th octave for most people. Some people can even sing the 6th octave in the flageolet register (or super falsetto) without having to go to whistle range.

Actually for girls (especially with soprano) it's not hard to sing F5. A don't take a singing lessons but i can sing even C6, sometimes even higher. (im soprano and my lowest note is C4 ). It's not about lessons, it's about voice type. They just can sing it clean

@@meganyamk172 I did a lot of searches about voice type, and I learned an essential thing: your vocal range doesn't define your voice type. Me too, I can sing a C6 without struggle (only in head voice lol) but the highest note in my chest is a C#5, I can scream an E5 only if I strain hardly my vocal cords but I'm not still able to sing a D5. Most women are sopranos because this is the most common voice type, but there're a lot of sub-units in a voice type. If your natural range permits you to sing an F5 with ease it's because your voice is very light, I think. I'm a soprano but my range is not high at all : D#3 - C#5 - Eb6 (F7)
