thsi is the first video I've found of yours a loving it!! I'm in Canada and I will say my husband is a cabinet installer and woodworker and he gets the "isn't this supposed to..." especially with glass and stone and the reason is really simple haha. They don't put those portions in during the building and installing portion is because with so many people in and out during the process they don't want it to get damaged so they save all the "fragile" parts for the end. ❤❤ He actually had a home owner demand he put it in right away and the counter install guys dropped a portion of the marble counter top and smashed the glass and damaged a bunch or cabinets... He said it not only took for ever to clean up all the glass but he said straight up to the customer "and this is why we are the professionals and do things the way we do... accidents happen." It pushed finishing the job back 2 weeks as they had to wait to get the glass custom cut they had to re make the cabinets and deliver both to site. So for home owners I know your super excited to see things done and finished but trust your workers 🙃 Yes there are always those... how do I say not great to work with but most of the time... You've got good ones ❤

We had purchased an Ikea kitchen over twenty years ago in a traditional wood style, installed the European way. The base and shelves were solid wood not pressboard and to this day it has held up beautifully, no chips or warping. Unfortunately we didn't get soft close because it was unavailable at the time but the drawers open and close beautifully still and they haven't fallen apart and believe me I cook a lot so my kitchen is well used.
