Your nail tech did AMAZING! They're so cool looking! I wouldn't do it on my own though. The raised edges would drive me insane and I'd be picking at them all day every day.

Beautiful, but completely irrational. You'd get so much damage just living with that amount of 3D on your nails in a day that it doesn't seem worth it really.
@DaveMcIroy2 жыл бұрын
What do you mean with 3D?
@Mossfaerie2 жыл бұрын
@@DaveMcIroy As in 3-dimensional. It isn't just flat nail art, there are large beads and raised edges added to the nail. That being said- I'm not sure what they're talking about. This doesn't cause any extra damage (unless you're the kind of person to hit/scrape your nails against things a lot- in which case, yes, this would be a bad idea for a few reasons).
@BabyLove1D2 жыл бұрын
@@Mossfaerie but I think even with hitting or scrapping it still wouldn’t cause damage. From everything I’ve read/learned about Gel-X extensions, they’re designed to be gentler on the nail and to last a lot longer, which is why places that offer them will usually charge extra. They’re what my nail tech suggests for people who are going to travel because of their durability.

You guys are aware this nail artist is likely to be a human trafficking victim, right?!

@@ecisk0562 human trafficking in nail salons and places like that is becoming more common in the US/UK (maybe elsewhere?), however I don't think we need to worry specifically about _this_ nail artist, considering she's the "Hana" in Hana Nails (I'm assuming)? Also, while it is definitely a problem, it's not as if _every_ nail tech is trafficked so I think OP is kind of overexaggerating the likelihood

My nail tech I used for years told me they worked 7 days a week 12 hour days and they aren't allowed to leave to go places and they love with their "sponsor" (boss) and they are working off a debt (the price to be brought to america)...and it took my breath away when she was telling me. She has kids here in America and they don't live near her and she sees them only on some holidays. But she always says how lucky she is to be here in America. It broke my heart. I know there's more to it and there were so many girls in that shop. Now I'm a nail tech. Independent and from home. So I don't work shops. So I don't go there to get nails anymore obviously. But it opened my eyes for sure
