In todays video we are headed to the laundromat. I had a massive load of laundry that needed to be done. The dirty clothes pile was getting out of control so I decided to pack everything up and go to the laundromat. I did about 12 loads of laundry. Once I got everything washed and dried I folded all of the clothes and put them away. I also did some ironing and hung up a bunch of clothes. I hope this video gives you tons of laundry motivation and I hope you enjoy coming along with me to the laundromat.

Folding at the laundry mat is a game changer because of the folding counter surfaces. They have it in my building and folding feels like so much less of a chore when it's at that height and with that space.

I used to do my laundry at my complex but when a friend introduced me to her laundromat. It closed then I found another laundromat near me. I like the one I go to because it’s open till midnight. I can load up my car before going to work and do my laundry after work it depends on how much I do if I can get it done in 2 or 3 hours. I like the laundromat that I go to because it has an app so I can add money via my phone. I always take something to work on when I do laundry.

Definitely helps separating it at home that way you know what you are working with and you can't throw them especially if the laundromat is busy that's to much to do there. My nephew has those laundry bags for college I believe this is the second year using them n they are great he carry a lot of heavy hoodies and jogging back and forth to home

This reminds me to double check my bag to see if I need to add more products I use to do laundry. When I’m there at the laundromat I prefer to fold my laundry there. It’s easier for me to fold there so I can put it away. However, sometimes I don’t always get them put away when I get home. Putting away is always a course for me.

It must have cost you a small fortune because it is expensive at our laundromats around here! It's just the two of us and we usually run our washer everyday. When the kids were home it ran from early morning until late at night! There are always towels and sheets beside clothes that need to be washed! My wife says the new washers take too long and it must be awful trying to wash a lot of loads in one day! We use the laundromat for large items too! Your doing a great job! Have a great holiday!

I used to fold my towels in thirds but since I reorganized my linen closet I still fold my one set of towels in thirds but my other style of towels are rolled. I roll my wash clothes and fold my hand towels in thirds. Each towels all have their own basket. The rolled towels go in a basket standing up right while the other towels go in a basket on their side. The wash clothes go in a small basket while the hand towels go in a rectangle basket. All these baskets go on the same shelf.

I love that! It sounds like it looks so nice! I love the look of the rolled towels but my boys destroy it every time I try to set them up. I am ready for them to get older so I can go back to that style.

If I go to the laundromat, I do the same thing. Your washcloth can be one day used... it's going. 😊 I fold towels just like you did here. I did the roll. It's pretty, but husband and son just end up messing it up. They don't understand neatly put away. So...🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

This may be the clean freak in me but I really want to know…. When using the carts to you Clorox them before putting your clean clothes in them? All I can think about is the kid messes (bodily messes) and a bunch of other things coming into contact with those carts.

OMG I didn’t think of that! I do think about the regular germs but I feel like the heat from the dryer will kill them so once they come out of the dryer I only put them in my bags or baskets

I do both. If the laundry gets out of control I take it to the laundromat and just wash and dry it all at once. But I do have a washer and dryer at home so I try to do at least 1 load a day but that doesn’t always happen.

I try to do one load a day. Since it’s 4 of us and Jackson, Lincoln and Darryl all change clothes like 2-3 times a day the only way I can keep up is once a day. If I do once a week it’s a lot like this video.
