I love mini challenges! I have a binder where I work on 6 at a time and roll a D6 to distribute the money. Each challenge is assigned 1-6 and each roll gives $2 to which ever challenge the D6 decides. 🎲

I LOVE when budgeters do these smaller challenges and dollar amounts. I am new to budgeting and only get paid biweekly. I am still learning to make my money last the full 2 weeks. The first check is especially hard because that is when all the bigger bills are due. I have had my emergency fund twice, but each time something happened that required me to spend at least half of it. Anyway, my was that, especially with my first check, I only tend to have around $20ish for saving challenges at the end of my check. I obviously prioritize bills and emergency fund, then I give myself a set amount for gas and spending cash. I write down whatever is “showing” as being left as savings challenges, but life happens and it doesn’t always happen. I save my change and my letter bucks I am collecting in a change purse that gets emptied once every two weeks and goes towards savings. Well…that Thank You turned into a story. You can let Matt know your not the only one! 😂 Have a great week, and thanks again.

I'm on disability and sometimes I barely have $10 to stuff for the month. Sometimes I dont have any money for that month. I'm very lucky if I get to have $100-$150 to stuff for the month. A lot of times I'll hold on to what I have for 2 or 3 months before I do anything so I at least feel like I'm making more progress. Its very disheartening sometimes especially when theres so many challenges you want to do and can't or ones you know you'll never get to do cause it would take years or having to wait months to do challenges when I'd love to at least do them every week. I wanted to start a channel but I can't cause it wouldn't go anywhere just doing a video once a month or so.

@@carolyndalton7775 sorry I'm just now seeing this. It's the same as it was really. Because I'm disabled I can't work to make extra money. Even a work from home job I couldn't do consistently as most want or need cause I have mobility issues and I have severe chronic pain from different problems every day and some days I'm lucky to get out of bed at all. That's why I'd love to get my channel going to maybe one day get monetized for a little extra money but with my situation it's hard. I'm still trying to get things together and get stuff figured out so I can cause I really want to do it cause it's something I love doing it to.
