Long story made short, I'm dying from blood cancer, lung cancer, and a heart condition...yet for 3 1/2 years I've been pushing to get my wife's surgery for her to be able to live her life. Working myself to the bone almost 24/7. The blood cancer I have unfortunately will claim my life regardless of treatments. Can only postpone the inevitable for so long. I lost many of my friends when i was stationed in Iraq, When i got back home after my third tour it was difficult for me, I was always thinking of suicidal thoughts, I felt guilty from how many people i had killed, Woman, Children, that haunted my nightmares for months, At one point i had gotten to where i couldn't take anymore, I attempted to take my own life, I failed, And that was ths greatest thing that happened to me, I was able to seek help, And i was able to meet up with some of my old military buddy's, Seeing that they were ok made me feel so much better. This morning on KZbin I typed in "If Creed wrote Bring me to Life by Evanescance" looking for that pretty good version of that song by some youtubers I heard the other day... ...that led me to an Assassins Creed tribute video from about 8 years ago with this song playing on it. Pretty awesome too being a big AC fan... ...now im here, sat listening to this song on a bus thinking about how I lost my mum last year which broke me and how meeting the Love of my life shortly after literally saved me and brought me back to Life with her awesomeness and compassion, with a tear in my eye 🥹 I had never heard this awesome song before.
