I live alone and didn’t visit anyone so I made a lentil loaf, asparagus and a shaved Brussels sprouts salad. It was good.

Happy Easter! We usually do ham. The kids are older so they get a basket and we try to just remember the reason we celebrate the holiday and spend time together! I hope you have a great Easter! Great video!!

I do a hawaiian haystack, i add lentils, coconut flakes and chow mein noodles to what youve added. I forget about this but love it when i make it. This is great for large groups of people.

My husband had 1/4 of the small, sliced, fully-cooked, peppered ham from Aldi. My son and I had Tofurkey that I cooked in the crockpot with onions, soy sauce, fresh garlic, and herbs. I made au gratin potatoes, corn with butter sauce, steamed green beans, onion gravy, and corn bread. We'll be having leftovers tomorrow. No special activities for today just a bit of cleaning and self-care. My son is in college and catching up on homework. Hope you had an enjoyable day. Thanks for the video! 😊

Hello! I just found your channel and had to comment on your a Hawaiian Haystacks. We have something similar that we call Chicken Stack-Ups. In addition to the ingredients you used we also add celery, coconut, and green onion. It rare that I come across a similar dish so I was very excited. I look forward to watching your channel.

Hi Erica! We sometimes add coconut and green onion to ours too. I've never tried it with celery before though. I'll have to next time we make it 🙂. What do you make your base for the chicken sauce with?

@@FrugalLifeThriftyWifeI just make a simple chicken broth gravy starting with a roux of butter and flour then add chicken broth. That’s all. 😊 We like gravy so we keep it separate from our roasted chicken so we can add more gravy without adding chicken.
