Hi Jim, you should be able to turn off the auto lock mode by clicking 4 times from off mode. I think that is something they have added in the second batch after receiving community feedback.

How long will it hold the high mode before ramping down? Same with the medium mode at 750lm

Hello, I recently bought an sc33 and when I tried to charge it the flashlight would turn on by itself without the ac adapter being plugged in, (just the USB end was plugged into the flashlight. Is this normal? Also, the battery charged in about 2 hours and when I started using the flashlight the battery indicator was red. Thanks in advance for your reply

Ohhh no, that’s definitely not normal I would contact Sofirn for repair or replacement asap
