Try strobe lights on motion sensor + this sound or one that alternates frequencies often because they can't adapt to it it's randomly out of nowhere to them so it's confusing those combined should work I noticed that if you play it all the time it gives them a chance to adapt to it they did that with the strobe light one night they seemed so drunk and discombobulated looking they like running into stuff and not long after that tried the same method and they appeared immune to it somehow they'd adapted that fast and then I couldn't get the desired response with the light strobe light or at least to get them to move around but they adapt very well I've had to continually come up with new ways to get them but the best way to get thim is thinking like they do watching the patterns and implementing new strategies often

The pests seem to have build an immunity after using the wall penetration version around the 10th day. Dont believe it'll work forever, work on the passageway where they enter. I am now finding alternatives without sleep it's 4 am 🥲 I do not know anything about house repairs as I live alone and fairly young idk what to do.

I'm DIY self taught. No one ever taught me things like that or just any basic thing an adult should know. It's hard but if I can do it you can. If you rent, it's important to contact your landlord. Also, in some places the county health dept. can help you. Like I'm from Memphis & they came out & helped me inspect & gave me instructions on how to set traps, fill in holes, etc. I own my home but people here who rent can get assistance with forcing the landlord to take action. It's a public health risk & you can't ignore it. I have a cat but he is afraid of them. I had the most luck with poison bait stations that pets can't access. And mixing equal parts baking soda & jiffy cornbread mix as poison. I don't have to worry about my cat with that because it only kills rodents. Do not leave food out or dirty dishes in sink. And everything in the pantry has to be put in a glass or heavy plastic container after opening. They can't smell food that's sealed & unopened. I bought this thing called Vault to store my cat's food & I keep any loose snacks of mine in that too. I had a bad habit of eating in my room. I don't do that anymore. Seal up any holes with steel or copper wool & spray foam. I just get the wool pads at the dollar store. I prefer the copper because it won't rust. I usually get pest block foam but used the regular kind when 💸 was tight. Look for holes in the cabinet under sinks. Where the pipes are. And behind the stove & refrigerator. Contractors love creating huge holes behind appliances for the wires for some reason. I had to replace my dryer vent because they chewed a hole beside it. For things like that look on KZbin for diy tutorials. They chewed holes in my roof which was the worst thing. My house is a split level & I'm afraid of heights. I had to do that a couple of times & I'm sure I will again. I had to cut back tree limbs overhanging my roof & clean up my yard really well. The problem was my neighbors who didn't feed their chickens, goats, dogs, etc. And these starving animals were in my yard digging & scrounging for food all day every day. I ended up calling animal control & the guy told me the rats were coming from the neighbors because of how they live & in particular the chickens. But now at least they are keeping their farm animals contained which is what our city & county ordinances say is the law. I had to look all this up 1st & call city hall. I hate conflicts like this & I'm afraid of retaliation. My other neighbors hate them & one swears they shot his dogs. I have security cameras & really that's all I know to do because I don't want to shoot or hurt their trespassing animals but the chickens had started digging into my foundation & were depositing tons of waste onto my yard every day. Things such as this you need to take care of yourself 1st. I learned the hard way letting it go for so long & being afraid. My point is if something like this happens to you, take care of it immediately & don't feel bad because you are in the right. Everyone needs to take care of themselves better. If you need help with anything else you can respond & I can give you my insta or something. I don't mind helping anyone because I know how it is. I don't know what I would have done without KZbin & the right mindset. My family is extremely dysfunctional so I have no support there. But I have done things I never knew I could do. And you can too. Don't get discouraged. It takes a while of consistent trapping & poison to get rid of most of them. So, cut off the food & water supply. No access to your food. As for water, mine hated Cayenne pepper so I sprinkled it in my kitchen & bathroom faucets/sinks till they stopped trying to get water there. Inspect & do exclusions by looking for any holes no matter how small. Just fill it. Look into your city or county health depts for help. And watch KZbin videos on how to diy deal with rodents & get educated on how to fight back & win. And don't be afraid to ask for help or take action for your health & safety.

Occasionally/sometimes. Only very close to the place the mice are. Those that work the best are the ones that are also the most annoying to us. And loud in that case. Then u and the neighbour and their pets should be away from the house those hours... What DOES also work is the predator sounds. Like "3 hours lion roar" or "birds of prey 10 hours". Less annoying if you are home than some other choices

This one seemed to work. I tried the other ones to maximize the effect. I have some sort of rodent in either my wall or under my floor. Was scratching constantly. The other ones would just slow them down for a bit. I would have to play them for an hour or more and even then it would just slow them down. This one I actually haven’t heard a single scratch since. Now they will get used to this one and I will have to change it again but for now it works. Silence is really nice. I will update if they start scratching again. If it’s not updated. They stopped for the rest of the night.

My daughter came in to me earlier today and said her head was hurting that she can hear a noise. I knew it was this sound. I had it full max sound connected to my stereo, and so I turned it off. I can also hear it but not that bad, just annoying. But it's on now beacaue she's asleep. Hopefully she doesn't wake from it. I know mice come out at night so I have it on. Hope u feel better. Get someone with a ferret if they don't leave, you'll be surprised how many people have ferrets when you look, even if you have to pay its worth a try. We let a ferret loose in the attic and should have heard the squeaks and scurrying, ferret killed 4 and we haven't heard a thing since.

Even better if you the cat/ferret could stay for a few days, the mice that aren't caught will flee with the scent of them being in the property. I had the most luck with this changing it out every month or so. And the tomcat brand poison blocks. I could only find mice sized bait stations. So, I broke it up onto paper plates while wearing gloves. I only put it in rooms my pets didn't have access to. The decon brand poison is the worst & it's a waste of money.

I think that is where they are coming in as I put poison down and the poison has gone, but the poison in the traps are still there and traps not touched! clever little rodent's! little baastds playing under my bed last few nights could hear plastic bags with bubble wrap inside shuffling under my bed! then one was scurrying about in my Kitchen, but was way to fast for me to get it! hopefully it is the same rat! and its eaten the poison now! had this playing through the Night and today while I was away from home! hopefully it helps!

Get a spray bottle and fill it with either 100% full strength PineSol or Hexol. It will stop them dead in their tracks and eventually die.

@@andrewjohnson6246 Rats leave trail marks from the grease on their bodies. PineSol and Hexal, disrupt their trail scent. When I see grease makes, I first clean it with soap and water, then I spray with PineSol outside and Hexol on the I side of my house along their path. Make sure you can vent your house for air or spray the boarders and leave for a few hours. They are both really strong and that is after I dilute them 1:1 parts with water. I hope that helps. It's not a perfect solution, but it is part of my repertoire in dealing with this rat situation that I'm in. I just ordered Contra Pest fertility control. It renders the male and female rats infertile for about three months to help bring down the population while I set up traps.

Not unless you're playing it at a volume that would cause immediate hearing damage. Commercial grade speakers wouldn't be capable, you'd need to spend 10k+. Bass frequencies would be more doable but still very dangerous and expensive. One funny thing about electronic music festivals is that once the music gets going and the heavy bass gets pumping, all the mosquitoes clear out because they literally can't fly in the intensely vibrating air 😂😂
