Thank you for sharing about your chronic pain. I've dealt with chronic back and knee pain for close to 20 years. Now I have arthritis in my left foot and right hand as well as some neuropathy in my hands. I searched for videos that showed practical ways to maintain your home while dealing with pain with no luck. Over the years I have found ways to do things (sitting on a shower stool to scrub my shower). I'm so glad you're being realistic about it and working with your body. I think that's motivating.

Good morning Jess, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 hoping you will have great results with the medicine and the MRI turns out fine. I am sorry you are not feeling well. Jessie try getting massages and a chiropractor. I completely understand your concerns. Back in my younger days I worked three jobs. I was a true work horse. I worked in Hospice over10 yrs. It all has taken a toll on my body. I’ve had so many surgeries shoulder replacement hands, hips,& feet. It’s all crazy. I am now 73 years old. I am taking care full-time of my husband who had a stroke last May. I wake-up in pain & go to bed in bed. I cannot give up because I am now a full time care giver. Please, please, please slow down and take extra care of yourself. Your health is more important than a spotless house. Sending love & prayers❤.OMGOODNESS I cannot believe how Big Mac is getting. He is so tall. 😘

Thank you! I definitely need to listen to my body and start taking care of myself now because I need to be healthy for at least another 20 for Malcolm to get adulthood. We never know what's coming as we age. Like you said spouses get older, parents age as well. We will always need to be caretakersim some way, babies, kids, spouses, ourselves.

Thank you so much. I am so sorry you have to live with chronic pain. I definitely don't wish it on anyone. Mine is actually not even my migraines. That is my secondary affliction. The one I talk about the most. The one I deal with daily is my foot that I try not to scare anyone on camera with. I hopefully plan on having my 5th surgery and last surgery on it 🤞 next year maybe but it's always in pain which radiates up to my knee , hip and back which puts my back out line which puts everything out of sync. It's been messed up since I was 15 so I've dealt with it for over 20 years now.

Thank you!! I'm sorry you are dealing with the same issues. She was asking me some MS questions like leg arm weakness tingles etc and my hands and arms do fall asleep pins and needles a lot but they always have . I've always had bad circulation issues. My feet are always cold. I brought up the neck electric shock thing on my own but it happens when I turn left not when looking down so we shall see if my brain mri says regular white matter for migraine activity or has other markers for other issues. We are looking at cervical mri as well for pinch nerve in neck or what ever is going on in there. Sorry such a long comment.

Great video ❤️😀👍I get the part about slowing down. I’m 68 and can do half as much as I used to do. The trick is to keep moving 👍When I sit too much I slow down even more🙄Trying to do the treadmill in the winter months helps! I hope your trip to Japan goes well. My daughter and husband took a trip there the summer before her senior year. They loved it❤️Don’t worry about people judging about the toys! You have to do what’s best for Malcom 😊I’m looking forward to watching all the updates you’ve got planned 😀👍❤️

I agree with keep moving for sure! My grandmother had a few strokes that slowed her down a little but didnt stop her but had her wanting to not leave her house, then not leave her chair , then just kind of gave up even when we begged her not to give up. So I know how important it is to still be active. We are getting on my grandpa now about getting out into his community hall and walking everyday and seeing his friends.

Fibromyalgia is so painful. My grandmother suffered so bad she couldn't get out of bed some days in so much pain. I feel for you. Chronic pain is so misunderstood, especially if it's an invisible illness. From the outside sure I look healthy (ish) but on the inside I feel so old and my bones ache.

Hi Jessie. I'm glad you're feeling better. It seems like, at times, doctors can't give us the correct meds or the dosage. Medications are supposed to help us feel better, not worse, for crying out loud. Lol. When I have to take an antibiotic, I stay nauseous the whole time. Good health is such a gift. We all never really appreciate it until we don't have it. Hope you feel better as each day passes. I swear it looks like Malcolm has grown a couple inches since your last video. Lol. Have a great day.
@JessieLifestyleAtHome7 ай бұрын
I think I'm just a light weight with meds. I don't usually take heavy meds. Now that I am on the children's dose ( that's a joke but pretty much the lowest you can go) I feel so much better. I hope this dose will still be effective to prevent the migraines. I do have an appetite now though. The higher dose pretty much made me hate food and made me want to puke at the smell of some things. It's nice to feel normal again. If I can get this fatigue under control again I want to get back in the swing of things.

Praying your MRI is fine! Migraines are THE worst! My daughter and I both suffer from them. She, more than I. She has three little ones to take care of in another city. I don’t know how she does it? Her hubby helps her out a lot when he can be home
@JessieLifestyleAtHome7 ай бұрын
I'm thinking since I'm doing well no migraines with then prevention meds so far the MrI will show migraine matter but will be fine. I might have a pinched nerve in neck because I have some issues in my neck when turning it but I think it will be fine. 😬 I'm glad it's getting checked out though. Two more weeks to wait. So all I can do is obsess until then 🤣

Hi Jessie, I suffer from Basilar migraines, I can’t focus, lose power in my legs and eventually pass out, I am drained for one to two days after, I have been prescribed a lot of medication including topamax, nothing worked and am currently getting Botox injections every 3 months which at the minute hasn’t really improved things.
@JessieLifestyleAtHome7 ай бұрын
Oh man that awful! I've not heard of that type of migraine. Mine last for 3 days minimum. Then like you the day after I'm exhausted from the fight. So it's almost a week off my life every time I have one. Plus I get tension headaches in between. So far the topomax has worked. I have been migraine free for a month and three weeks. Of course the first month I felt awful on the medicine so I was debating if it was even worth it. I'm feeling a lot better not so hoping the migraines can stay away for a while. Botox didnt work for my type of migraine. Or the daith piercing either. I wish there was a cure for them for every type. Migraines can really be a toll on quality of life when most of your day is spent down with the migraine or spent recovering from one .. or spent in anticipation of the next worried about weather triggers , noise, stressors, food, environmental factors, smells etc. It really stinks.

I did a long time a go with my hormones as well but I'm older so I think it's time to deep dive into redoing it all again. Dr's are so resistant in doing any testing anymore. I had to beg to see a Neurologist vs my primary prescribing another stop gap. I mean the Neurologist did prescribed a new med but also ordered the mri and a daily prevention which did help.
@justmemuchlove82757 ай бұрын
@@JessieLifestyleAtHome yes maybe redoing that is a good idea. Its a shame that you almost have to beg dr. to get the testing done .
