You might consider making fire near the boulder so the boulder can absorb the heat and radiate heat back toward you.
@WildsolocampСағат бұрын
Thank you for the great suggestion! Making a fire near a boulder to reflect heat is a very practical idea, and I’ll definitely try it in future camps. Thanks again for the helpful tip!❤️

Does the snow fall a little to fast for -12? Just asking.
@Wildsolocamp2 күн бұрын
The temperature at night reached -12°C, with snowfall continuing until it fluctuated between -5 to -6°C, sometimes lower or higher depending on the conditions, location, and elevation. The temperature varies in different areas.❤️

i would have built the fire against the huge rock. as then it reflects heat out and warms up
@Wildsolocamp2 күн бұрын
That’s a great idea! The rock acts as a natural heat reflector, keeping you warm and making the most of your fire.🙏❤️

That’s why it’s important to always control the fire, not let the fire control you!😉🙏
@Wildsolocamp2 күн бұрын
I always keep my fires strong and under control, so there’s no reason to worry. Plus, in snowy and rainy conditions, the risk of fire is very low. In any case, safety first, then work

Its survival. Not a resort
@pascalmassif5652Күн бұрын
This is a shelter, not a house. And what is this language : "bro" ? Go back to your gangsta zone in your trash town. Nature and bushcraft can't interest you.
@angelitosantiago2283Күн бұрын
Its warm on that simple shelter, cuz the heat of the fire maintain a warm temperature on the boulders where he seated and will sleep... this guy is a real survivor in the wild...

혼자 캠핑 하시기 무섭지 않아요?
@Wildsolocamp2 күн бұрын
No, I’m not afraid because I’ve been doing this since I was a child. But in general, you shouldn’t let fear take over. If you let fear in, it’s over. You need to raise your mental strength so fear doesn’t overpower you, and have a strong will. That way, you’ll handle it. But you always need to be cautious and stay alert.🙏❤️

Having a tarp overhead as far as I'm concerned is not a shelter that's just enough to keep the snow off of you. Don't do what Donny don't does
@WildsolocampКүн бұрын
I see your point, but a tarp can be a quick and lightweight solution in certain situations. Of course, it’s not a full shelter, but it does the job when needed. Thanks for the advice, though-always good to keep learning!🙏❤️
