Looks great. Best place for water bottles is right behind the seats next to the center console.

Yep! Miata owners know what's up!! This car is for driving, not for sipping a cafe mocha!

She did a fantastic job on that armrest! Really making me think of hacking my 99 armrest. Keep it up!

...line of the day "we don't cheap out"!! This episode reminds me of the lude series vids where all the little details were shown making it must watch. True car enthusiasts will appreciate all the detail put into the work. You guys have taken a miata skeleton and have steadily transformed it into this badass looking car, job very well done! Two suggestions for next week's vid, both intro, first a totally new intro with the both of you wrenching in the garage and second, maybe starting the vid with blowing up that damn sh*t stereo console piece with a M80 or something! Cheers guys!

You guys are awesome Kelly you killed that armrest. You got the wife asking cat build questions which was surprising. But then she ruined it by saying Brandon will be done with the Miata before I finish the lude …. So disrespectful lol

Lol. That is hilarious. When is that Lude going to be finished? What is left to do?

Looking amazing. Seats are looking great , but I think once the car is painted you should consider getting then re-upholstered same color with outer in black leather, seating area in suede leather color of the car along with the stitching the same color as well.

Have you thought about switching out the vents with the vents from the Jeep Patriot or Compass?

No, that falls into the "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" category for me.

@@ExtremeDailyDrivers Ha ha. Was just checking. My fatherinlaw did that to his Miata and that might be his favorite mod of all time. Great progress!
@stantheman51632 жыл бұрын
Nice outcome! Just wondering if that model has the screws up in those center eyeball vents like on my '94. Also, you could have tried the DDM Works faceplate option for installing a single DIN stereo. I used it on mine and it was an easy install. I didn't even open the Metra package Crutchfield sent me with the Alpine unit I bought. I got the one with the single DIN opening above three 52mm gauge cut outs. They have various options available.
@ExtremeDailyDrivers2 жыл бұрын
We considered that face plate as well as the JDM tombstone. Kelly didn't want gauges and I didn't want to pay close to $200 for the JDM unit. So we cheaped out with this tombstone. We revised the radio in another more recent video. You'll be there soon. Thanks for watching!
