Yes you were definitely correct to limit her length with such short bitten natural nails. Such short nails just can't safely support long length. That old saying "The customer is always correct" needs to go away, especially in instances like this. You absolutely did the right thing and they came out so pretty!

I totally agreed with your approach to this young client. My 15 yr. Old granddaughter is a nail bitter and I did here nails. She was very reasonable about the length she wanted but me being a former nail bitter when I was young, I told her that wanting beautiful nails was my incentive to stop biting my nails and getting my nails done helped me to break the habit. ❤️🙏🏽❤️

Gorgeous result!! My 16 year old daughter is also a nail biter, but she wants me to do her nails for a dance, so she stopped biting for a full month! I hope our result is as beautiful as yours!

I am an amateur nail tech, and I have had three surgeries on my left thumb over the years...the cuticul changed after the first time. It sticks to the nail bed and it does not let it go and it gets hard and no hand cream can make any change. But since I learned how to do nails I am using cuticul oil on it and it relaxes it so good that I don't even need a pusher anymore. Those oil really help! If she uses them daily she will get netter results sooner.❤

those people need patience, I have less length now and never had it longer and I stopped biting nails in January... it's SO MUCH work and takes time .. she will hit the nail on everything because she's not used to the length at all... I would have done only like 1mm over the fingertip and go slowly and explain why.. I'm really curios how long they lasted 😮
