you need more monitoring and a flat floor in the bunker but it is progressing - 2.5 is a good addition with jumbo frames you should get 230mb/s or so, do add hepa pos pressure vent and that will take care of humidity issues when coupled with dehumidifer

cheap D-Link work well and also their managed ones are very cheap. Also, Mikrotik are a bit more expensive but you have good optioins with SFP/SFP+

If you add up all the stuff I wanted for this switch,, the options got very limited. 10Gbit uplink SFP+ uplink Minimum 8 ports of minimum 1Gbit ports Managed Fit in my tiny rack. (this did not fit where I wanted it but still) Affordable (this is a for fun project,, trying to keep the prices down)

Great video Morten… Maybe you find DC/DC power supplies for the switch and the de-humidifier so you can switch of the AC part of the battery- avoidance of switching/conversion loss Would be fun to see

Yes,, I need to step down 12v to 9v to the de-humidifier,, just haven't gotten to that yet :-/ and I need it to run in a timer on/off or even better a humidifier sensor,, on/off.

What about a fibre connection from your mainframe to the unit in your bunker via one of the pipe that goes into your bunker.
