Love watching these transformations from ugly, filthy to treasures.

People commenting that this has to be fake have never had their home flooded. Lucky them. I lived through two historic floods in the Southern Tier of New York State, 2006 and 2011. I assure you…carpets get this filthy. Some are, sadly, left to rot, others cleaned and restored. I don’t know that all of the carpets we see on this channel are pre-soiled…but I know they look like they’ve been in a flood, or fire with water damage from firefighting. 🤷🏼♀️

I agree that flood damage clean up is a huge challenge. However most of the videos of this type are now dubious at best.

It doesn't really matter to me if the carpets come at the cleaning service as filthy as we see them, or if they are soaked in oil and mud by the content creators/videomakers themselves. Fact is that their videos are relaxing and so satisfying; i just love watching them!!

What does he do when they’re clean? I would imagine maybe sell them? Just wondering.

I believe how it works is, clients come to Change with their carpets that have been through disastrous events like floods or fires to have them salvaged. That's why the rugs are so impossibly dirty, it's not normal wear and tear. Once they finish the rugs, they give them back to the client. I could be wrong, but I think that's how it works.
