Regarding your description, does that mean Fulton physically inspects this siren every week in addition to the weekly growl on Monday or do you mean it just does the weekly growl? Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I just want to know because I reported the issue with the chopper to them via email last week as well as Woodstock's Allertor being wired backwards, but never got a response back. However, I noticed that the Hurricane's horn was facing a different direction than it was last Monday when I first attempted a video of it growling.

Well since Darien's Hurricane is part of DuPage County's siren system, Fulton inspects it by conducting a growl test each week. However, for some reason, only the rotator & blower are checked up on and not the chopper. In my opinion, I think that's very dumb, but hopefully, Darien realizes that the chopper is broken and will try to fix it.

@@ElevatorDog100 Fulton's president got back to me just last Friday saying that he will be investigating the chopper motor issue with approval from the City of Darien. As far as the Woodstock Allertor goes, Fulton doesn't maintain that and I wouldn't have known that if it wasn't for my email so sadly it'll remain reverse wired for now, but I plan on emailing Woodstock themselves about it.

Wow!!! That's quite surprising. They probably reprogrammed the system such that the blower and chopper would activate simultaneously instead of the blower activating a couple seconds prior to the chopper. 😲🤔😀

Yeah, I'm not too sure what caused the blower & chopper to activate out-of-sync, but at least the chopper was working back then unlike in March of 2021 when the chopper broke.

Hurricanes are pretty unreliable as ACA falsely said it was "130dB" as from what I heard. Hurricanes have pretty much unreliable service, the MKI was bad due to its output, etc
