We do not interfere with nature. Guides are instructed to let nature take its course. I can confirm that the Pangolin did manage to get under a thick sickle bush thicket and SURVIVED!!

Should have stayed as a ball and not move. They would have assume its a stone and got bored. Then again, maybe they're going off smell. I'm no Zoologist.

Pangolin are rare and endangered, mainly due to over-hunting by humans. You should have rescued it.
