That is amazing how you restored the pipe threading machine to working order. It looks much better than before and it works like a charm too. Excellent work I must say.

I appreciate the restorative efforts, but a manual pipe threader is anything but expensive, regardless of vintage.

Recently discovered your channel and so glad I did. Your videos are excellent and satisfying at various levels. Besides showing a patient mastery of the restoration process, there is also a profound absence of the two things that ruin a majority of all KZbin videos: irrelevant yack-yack-yack and horrible/inappropriate/loud music. You're videos get right to the point. Nicely photographed, good lighting and sound, brisk editing and efficient flow of action that never bores or confuses me. Well done!

You need to focus more on casting marks and sharp edges! Other than that, excellent work! 🤩 You will be making more solid material with fewer holes and cracks and a more complete look after welding, if you learn the settings of your welding machine! and shorter protrusion on the filling material. no offence, just a sincerly opinion on how you can make your fantastic works better, and with less grinding and compromises!

Obviously it took a heck of a lot of laborious time and effort to disassemble and clean all that rust off the tool. And equally so to paint an reassemble it again. But it looks and seems to work very well. Nice refurbishing pipe thread cutter. It looks like the treads are not the typical NPT. They looked pretty fine threaded unless it was merely camera angle. Thumbs Up!
