This is probably the best siren ambience I've heard. For what i thought would be the recording of Greenwood, IN sirens I was mistaken in my own mind.

Anybody else hear a 3t22 where someone has wired the dampers incorrectly? As you can hear it wind down it sounds like it’s running faster than normal

At the time of this video, Clyde had two 3T22s, one with dampers that close any time power is going to the siren, one on 208V so it has a long wind up, and one that is running on half power and sounds like a carter siren. The 208V 3T22 was where the 508 on the map is.

@@Tigers9596 Wow, next time there’s a siren test I feel like you should be quite close to that siren if it is still around the 208 3t22 Also you should probably go and talk to someone from your cities maintenance that does siren maintenance stuff and let them know about that 3t22 with the constantly powered dampers

Yes, but they are from awhile back as that siren is now replaced by the 508 on screen.

Well it’s the same audio lol. Maybe it’s because you could tell it was raining in the video which added to the affect.
