Lane splitting is safer than not lane spitting. Going from stopped to moving is one of the more dangerous parts on a bike, as people are all clumped up and you're in everyone's blind spots. If you lane split and go to the front, everyone can see you (Which is why you're supposed to pull in front of the car at the front, and not stay beside it) As you're in the vehicle that should have the better acceleration, you'll pull away from the others and avoid a fuck ton of potential hazards. I agree with you that many people in these videos are assholes though. Most of them are speeding, get violent and aggressive too easily and are a general danger to themselves and those around them.

Average Jack Media Considering the fact that the vast majority of road rage incidents don't involve motorcycles, I gotta let you know that you're very wrong. I understand how they feel. When I ride, I assume everyone is going to pull out across in front of me, or pull out in front of me and hit the brakes. Unfortunately, too many drivers don't pay attention to their driving. some of these are unnecessary cause the guy who was trying to change lanes at 10:00 didn't even move over the line more than a foot and he quickly corrected, the biker was in his blind spot and he's lucky he actually corrected.

Glad I’m not the only one who was bothered by the first one. Kid was freaked out and was trying to apologize. He knew he made a mistake and nobody got hurt. Little unnecessary, but I understand the biker was also fearing for his life.
