We were looking back at historical photo's of Hanmer, it's changed quite a lot over the years, the best photo is one where it's just a single hut and a pool of hot water before any development😀 cheers...Andy&Michelle

My son and his girlfriend are working in Hanmer springs at the salt and pepper café and the Vintage bar/ restaurant. They're loving new Zealand, they've toured the North Island and when they finish working they'll tour the rest of the South Island and then maybe head over to Australia on a work/ vacances visa. I've shared all your videos with them 😊

We stayed at hamner spring in 2016 on the campsite in a motorhome..and experienced the kikoura earthquake..it was very scary

I can't imagine what that must have been like. It was always at the back of our minds while we were there and if the 2016 quake wasn't big enough they tell me they are overdue a really big one. Scary!...Andy&Michelle
