You should follow at a distance that if the car in front of you hit a brick wall and dead stopped you have time to safely come to a halt. If he would have crashed it's his own fault sneeze or not. If you have to lock up the brakes and swerve to miss the person who braked hard in front of you, You were following too close. The white dodge truck when you see the rear cam braked and came to a nice easy stop even when all the traffic in front of him were crashing or about to crash which made the people behind him be able to do the same and not crash when they were following too close.

@TheBanjoShowOfficial2 жыл бұрын
@@Cynsham alot of the time they aren't racing other vehicles. They are going through a track to get the quickest time independently. So by that very definition race wouldn't be a great adjective to describe a rally car, although if you really wanted to, you could use "race" as an umbrella term to describe both conditions. But the requirements for rally cars and race cars are often different, ie. the necessity for working brake lights, turn signals, etc. A nascar race car is no where near the same thing as a rally car. No where near the same. Suspension is a totally different engineering ball game. So yes, rally cars and race cars are not one in the same, unless you're willing to stretch the definition as an umbrella term, or you're willing to tell me an F1 car, or stock car, is the same thing as a rally car, in which case you don't know what you're talking about.
@acheybones5882 жыл бұрын
The way I see it, all rally cars are race cars, while not all race cars are rally cars. The word “race” is pretty non-specific as it is, which is why you had to specify F1, or nascar. Ever get tested for ASD? I’m only mostly joking :P

@@filanfyretracker I live along the tracks that this train runs and it happens too regularly. People think the train is going to be the freight train which runs at known times and "have" to beat it -- the freight train (50 mph) runs nearly as fast as the Brightline (65 mph). In this incident they stopped on the tracks (illegal everywhere) and stalled and wouldn't start because it was still in drive. They saw the train coming and everyone exited the vehicle. People are blaming the train when the issue is with the people. For the longest time the railroad was only running freight trains 4 times a day. Then they added a passenger train running every hour. They are also planning on running another passenger train every 30 minutes. I can't wait to see how many people complain that they built a railroad in the middle of a populated area ignoring that the railroad is the only reason people came to live down here anyways. When the railroad was completed in the 1890's, the end of the line (Miami) had a population of 300 people. Now 10 million people live along the railroad. @mortenfrosthansen842 жыл бұрын
@@HaHa-fd5qj most trucks doesn't have bolts. There's a hydraulic piston, that is reversible. Meaning you pump, either to tip up or down. That's enough to hold it in place. But there's free-run on it. So when you tip it either way, when gravity takes over, it "falls" the rest of the way. But it takes many pumps to get it in the engine repair position. This is for european though. I'm guessing american trucks still use a 1900th century design. It doesn't need to tip the cab, only the hood.. good accessibility to the engine. So it's idiot proof and durable, but badly designed. Distance between axles are enormous, which yields bad handling. Good at going straight, but terrible at anything else. Including instability during braking.. Also why you see so many bad accidents with big rigs.. Probably has 16-32 big bolts to secure it to the frame.

Nothing the cop did was wrong, with the possible exception of swerving to try to prevent the motorcycle passing and running away. That would depend on law wording wherever this happened. I'm all for holding bad cops accountable, but this is all on the motorcycle rider. If you rear end someone, it's your fault, in virtually every circumstance, barring something like brake light failure on the front vehicle. 6:36 that's fricked up. I found an article on this "The rider’s camera remains recording after the collision, and...we can hear the interactions between the cop and the rider, where the cop asks why the motorcyclist was tailgating him, and expresses amazement that he didn’t manage to ride around the side of the Charger. The KZbinr, who was cuffed in the middle of the freeway, but later released without charge, says he has been unable to discover whether the officer involved has been the subject of disciplinary proceedings. But we do get to see an extract of the police report, which says the officer had spotted the bike speeding and driving “recklessly” [FHP’s quotes] by weaving in and out of traffic." Even if he was speeding recklessly, the rider clearly didn't know the charger was a cop until it decided to brake check him. And wtf are you doing brake checking a motorcycle? Are you trying to kill him? In the video there was absolutely no way the rider could've avoided smashing into the back of that car, the cop literally swerved into the rider to dismount him, then belittled him to make it out like it was the riders fault. The riders official account said he sped up to about 76-8 to go around the charger after the charger (not knowing it was a cop) brake checked him the first time, and once the charger realized he wanted to overtake him, got directly infront of him, put his lights on revealing he was a cop and slammed on his brakes out of nowhere. If that rider hadn't had footage on his side, the cop could probably claim reckless driving during a traffic stop.

@@LRM12o8 some cops feel that way, but my dad was a cop for 26 years and many of those years he was a detective. He has been called to a highschool and made a switch blade disappear to keep a young kid from serious charges and expulsion. The problem is there are a lot of scumbag cops out there and they are the ones getting everyone’s’ attention. The truth is people are a__holes and cops are people. There’s no way to stop messed people from becoming cops as long as they have no arrest record, at least not right now. It’s hard to weed out people who have anger issues or people that crave authority. It’s harder than you think even with lie-detector tests.
@LRM12o82 жыл бұрын
@@cactuszak4454 Wow, your father does seem like a great guy. Understanding that this kid needs help, not punishment that's really rare (for society as a whole) and deserves a lot of respect! And I agree with your comment overall, but there's clearly a few systemic problem enabling these things to happen. First is the training: many cops get little training at all and the training often looks like how you prepare military personnel for combat against enemy armed forces. Is it any wonder some cops think they're at war against the citizens, when they were basically taught that every suspect is a criminal and every criminal is an immediate threat to their lives and deserves violent treatment anyway? No wonder there's a lot of loose guns out there! Many cops don't learn how to control a situation without violence, let alone de-escalate one, but they learn a lot of ways to justify overreacting. Secondly, yes there would be ways to weed out the bad guys, for instance by closely monitoring apprentices during traineeship and of course an independent organ controlling policework. That would require reforming police training and the judicial procedures when civilians file complaints about the police. Of course, when the police departments are the ones investigating their own officers, it's nigh-on impossible to get a bad cop discharged. So long as these things aren't changed, there's always gonna be plenty of bad cops ruining the reputation for all the honorable good cops, who genuinely want to help the community and its people. Because the police as an institution allows it to happen!
@cactuszak44542 жыл бұрын
@@LRM12o8 Many good points. I do believe if it was harder to become a police officer there would be less instances of brutality and wrongful deaths. And yes the police are militarized too. They have tanks and assault rifles. I can’t help but wonder if this wouldn’t be the case if there weren’t mass shootings and psychos with guns in every state. We need a complete overhaul of the hiring process of LEOs and the departments themselves but also who can and can’t own firearms. Many states still have no laws against individuals with domestic violence charges purchasing firearms. As long as our streets resemble a warzone it will be near impossible to demilitarize the police. Too many problems intertwined together to even list in a KZbin comment. What bothers me is if we can see these issues what the hell are our leaders doing? And the ones before them…

In theory Dashcam footage can't be used as evidence in court for a car crash, but I think this is slowly being relaxed for serious crimes etc. You still cannot buy a Dashcam in Switzerland. I do use a Dashcam here (from the UK), and 4 years ago filmed a guy in a stolen BMW pass me on the shoulder at 250kph, then crash to an old couple a few km later.
