Ordered from Extreme Terrain for the last time when i ordered these flares and rough country inner fenders. Took 2 days past the delivery date before i got them (i had to go to the FedEx facility to pick them up, another story i will not get into, other than FedEx sucks) and when i did, the hardware was missing. I called Extreme Terrain and was told i would get them on or before Wednesday (this was sunday), last night got an email that the process for the absent hardware was just now complete and would take an additional 3 - 5 days. I already got my old ones off, good thing I'm not single and can get someone to take me to the hardware store (I'm not putting my old flares back on just to do that) and i will just buy my own hardware. Not satisfied with Extreme Terrain at all after this purchase, one last thing, these flares look previously used or owned (they have scuff marks, normally i wouldn't care about it, i would just touch it up, but because of no/late delivery (when i got charged extra for handling) and had to go get them and the missing hardware and being lied to about receiving the missing hardware, I'm done.) Too much money being handed out on my end for the other end to not care and expect me to continue being a customer.

Is it just me or does it seem like 10 different companies sell this exact fender as their own? I looks exactly like the Fishbone and several other off brands I came across during my search for the "perfect" fender.

Where is the installation you just talk about the flares I just brought some same as the guy below and its bullshit wheres the instructions show me how to install I don't want to know how they were made
@Cornergrip7 жыл бұрын
booooo. dont be fooled. i just got these flares. instructions explocitly say you need to drill out the rears and use rubber inserts. no instructions included. extra parts which are not adfressed in ghis video

As many others have posted, I ordered these from ExtremeTerrain and there absolutely is drilling involved and use of cheap rubber nutserts. In addition, these included ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS what so ever. To their credit, Extreme Terrain has been very helpful and is going to email me the installation instructions.

no nutsert? Lies. you def need them on the rears. like 6 of them.

I'd fall into the plastic philosophical way, though these look great!

Thank you! It all comes down to styling preference and what you intend to use them for. I know of some plastic fender flares that I like a lot, but these are also a great option! -Brian

Nice rims set up what r the specs on it?

I'm curious too. Wondering about lift, etc. but from what I was able to roughly calculate those tires appear to be 33's on 17" rims. Looks wicked though, but those rear flares, not so much. Need to black out the body colour underneath it to mask it.

We're running a set of 35x12.5 Pro Comp Xterrain tires wrapped around some 17x9 Mammoth Steel Wheels! Best part is that our JKU is only sitting on a Teraflex leveling kit 👌. I think the DV8 Fenders look sick, but I agree that underneath the rear flares needs to blacked out to hide the body color. -Jake

I'm new to Jeeps so Im not clear on what that leveling kit is exactly? Could you provide some more info? Thanks!
@extremeterrain8 жыл бұрын
Welcome to the wonderful world of Jeeps Steve! A leveling kit is a simple and minimal cost way to increase the overall size of your Jeep. The Teraflex kit that we're running on our fleet Jeep lifts the front 2" and the rear 1". The difference in lift size between the front and rear helps eliminate the factory rake which gives the Jeep that "nose-dive" look. The leveling kit comes with front and rear coil spring spacers that sit in between the top of the coil spring and the coil bucket. The kit also comes with new front sway bar links and re-uses the factory front links on the rear. After installing a leveling kit you're able to fit up to a 33" tire, and you'll retain that factory ride quality since all you're adding is coil spacers. Check out our product page for the leveling kit and let me know if you have any other questions! -Jake www.extremeterrain.com/teraflex-leveling-kit-jk-1155200.html

ExtremeTerrain.com Just wondering how you are running 35's with the Teraflex kit if 33's are the max? Maybe I'm missing something? Thanks!

looks like 35/12.5/r17 or r16

So I took a pause of the clip when the Jeep was in profile and using some basic mathematics, it seems as though the rim is 17" diameter with 33" tires? But what is strange is that it appears as though they blurred out the tire markings when in profile so that it couldn't be read? Maybe an advertising thing but still, we can clearly see ProComp Xterrain throughout the video.

Thank you for your feedback! The flat tube style may not be for everyone, but these provide some extra clearance for your tires, and protection with the thick, steel plated tubing. What kind of fenders/flares do you like most? -Brian

ExtremeTerrain.com for now I am running with bushwacker flat fender cause I will probably break them while gaining experience. But eventually want to upgrade to metal style with heavy reinforcements. Like poison Spyder/metal cloak. I just don't think their is enough reinforcement behind the fender. Thanks for the response. I love talking to big companies and throwing around some ideas.

Thank you, it is my pleasure I love talking about this too! That sounds great though, honestly. Gaining experience with the Bushwacker flats is smart! They will work in your favor, and then when it's time to upgrade it seems you definitely are thinking in the right direction. Let me know if you have any questions on these I'm here to help! -Brian
