Dr. Dray I wish I found you years ago! I am 1/20 new to KZbin and my skin has improved so much. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️ Beginners Tip: I have to reiterate. No matter what peels or acids you use, after treatments, if your skin peels (purging) DON’T pick at it!! I made that mistake! It was coming off anyway I thought. Yes but let the healing process naturally. My skin improved but in dry areas my picking led to more PI hyperpigmentation, more peeling, & way longer healing times!

I have just been working on my sunscreen routine over the last weeks but i am honestly lost when it comes to the beard. How can I protect the skin that is showing underneath my beard? It's at about 1/3rd of my face so it is pretty significant. Thank you for all your amazing content.

My rosacea seems to be not very typical. I thrive on BHA as well as adapalene gel and I can tolerate glycolic acid quite well. I do the glycolic peels at the dermatologist and they are strong! They exceed the amount that can be done at estheticians here. Is is better for my Rosacea to have a proper peel once than applying something on an everyday basis as I am sensitive to cosmetics in general.

I also have rosacea, combined with hormonal acne because of an IUD (I have endometriosis so it’s a must to have for me). Anyway, I’ve seen dermatologists off and on for this (in Sweden where I live), had several antibiotics prescribed, both oral and topical. Nothing worked. Well, Duac (bensoylperoxide and klindamycin) worked for the acne but did nothing for the rosacea. After watching Dr. Dray’s video about topical sulfur I decided to give it a try, and it may be one of my best decisions. It really did work to better the rosacea. Then I started using a PHA wash from Neostrata’s restore series which is very mildly exfoliating. This I think made my skin able to handle more active products. Now I’ve also added Epiduo (adapalene and bensoylperoxide) carefully, and that also works. What I understand is that adapalene should work similar to tretinoin concerning anti-ageing effects. My skin is babysmooth and the redness is completely gone for the first time in my life, all while I manage the adapalene.

Hi there 👋🏽🤗 really appreciate this video. Thank you for sharing! On a related note, I struggle with post acne marks and hyperpigmentation due to the natural melanin in my skin. Any little blemish scars so easily! I’ve been using differin and the differin hydroquinone serum together every night. It’s helped a lot! However, I wanted to try to get a good moisturizer in that has ingredients helpful for hyperpigmentation. In a previous video of yours you recommend the Cetaphil redness reducing night moisturizer. I’ve recently purchased it, but I just wanted to know if it would be okay to use that with my differin products? Not sure if the ingredients are okay to use together. I would use it after I wash my face and let it dry, then I’d apply the moisturizer, then the differin gel, then the differin serum. Would love to hear your thoughts on how to proceed! Thanks so much Dr. Dray 💕✨

I just got this product but I’m a lil confused. Most videos say step 1, leave for 10 minutes. And for step 2, most people say to rinse after this step. On the box it doesn’t mention how long to leave step 1 but it does say to leave step 2 for 10 minutes. Pls help Dr. Dray.

I have been using it for about 6 months and love what it has done for my skin. I use it once a week. I have Melasma and I have notice it slightly helps but that is not the main reason I use it. I use other products for that. This makes my skin looks glowy and has improved my forehead wrinkles immensely. I love it. Thank you.

Barbara N would you be kind enough to tell me if you can use tretinoin the rest of the week?

I use a retinaldehyde 3 days a week but not on the day I use the peel.

Are you able to do this peel if you have a tiny bit of acne or do you have to wait till that’s all gone?
