The Exway Flex can reverse so you should definitely be able to stop and then some. You don’t out of the box you have to turn that function on in the app. Might Evolve GTR is in the shop getting repaired so I ordered this so I have something to ride, just waiting for it to come

The motor clearance/rubbing against the wiring is a fail for me. They need to rethink the design. Can you rotate the motors around and fix them to the back of the board to alleviate the issue?

Yes I think this can be done. I also will add 2mm spacer or replace the existing one with 4mm spacer. This is a easy fix. I will look for a better repair also. I would like to keep the deck as low as possible so I may epoxy the wires into the deck.

you may have first production bath from exway. the second production and forward have adjustments slots on the motor mounts. Contact exway and get new motor mounts.

I'm interested in knowing if the boundmotor wheels would fit the flex, and also how well a larger pulley might mitigate the larger diameter. I plan on getting a flex as most paths in my city I ride on are well maintained bike paths. But there are strips where I have to go through and ride on extremely rough asphalt, not uneven, rough. There are also some cobblestone streets, causing intense vibration. These parts are fine on my G2T if I go slow, but very uncomfortable. The flex will probably be better already with full wheels and flexy deck, but I really want to figure out if I could put some largeish rubber wheels on it and tailor it to my use case.

I would get flex for commuting in the city where roads are OK and wait for the offroad version of Exway for bad roads. Exway Flex is not that fun for big wheels if you are heavy.

I don't want to go as large as the cloud wheels 120mm, which is why I am curious about the 105mm boundwheels. What I really want is a street board that deals slightly better with rough surfaces (pavement transitions, asphalt with inset rocks for winter grip, curb ramps and the like) but I don't actually go the majority of any distance on this kind of road, at the same time I want to be able to cross this stuff without having to get off the board. I suspect the deck and full PU wheels will already improve this for me though in comparison to the G2T.

From all options you mentioned Exway Flex is the best. I ride Flex every day and I think its the best budget friendly option today on the market. If you need more range than Verreal RS and if you want to go fancy and fast Bound Motors Direct Drive D1

0:57 that acceleration actually seems quite slow... looking at the timer it's about 4 seconds from 8kph - 23kph (5-15mph) and 11 seconds to 35kph (22mph). The Boosted Stealth (according to Skate Metric) is doing about 2 seconds 5-15mph and 5 seconds 5-22mph, so it would be accelerating twice as fast. Does this match your experience? How powerful does the Flex feel next to the Boosted Stealth or Plus?

This is a interesting observation. The acceleration seems fast. I do own a stealth and a plus and I feel like Flex has similar acceleration but is faster than both models from boosted. I dont have a friend that weights same weight as me but it will be cool to do a side by side comparison.

That is a great idea but it will require to much work and you loose that portability factor that this board has initially was designed for. Just wait a bit since Exway is coming soon with off road version and you can just get that.

Verreal RS with 14S battery i get over 25 miles in range. If you decide to buy the board use the link i placed in description you will get a better deal. The same on the wheels. 105sDiscovery are the best so far.

I have an Evolve GT bamboo which is pretty stiff, I have run it with Abec 11 97 mm and cloud wheels. Are there better smoother like the rubber wheels? Which ones and pulleys can I use? When you rode the Exway flex with cloud wheels did you use the original pulleys? Do Exway supply different pulleys? Can you use cloud or Abec on a Wowgo 3X? I know that was a lot but hope to get some answers. Thank you

Ok so I'm 6'3" and 220lbs, and about to buy my first e-skate, and can't decide between X1 Pro and Flex. I live in LA so streets can be rough at times plus I like to carve a bit, so the flex appeals to me, but I do want something stable and I love the minimalism of the X1. Thoughts? Was going to send part never did, per person i have been communicating with i sent board to their office in NY about 3 weeks ago. They got the board. I put a claim tru paypal to get my money back. I didn't. 800 dollars they have and have the board. Good customer service my ass.
