At the age of 3 years old I was stricken with Steven Johnson Syndrome. It is a rare skin disease. It destroyed sight in my right eye, and left tunnel vision in my left eye. God allowed me to be able to see light in my right and and the shadow movement of a hand. I have had over 500 surgeries, and still counting till this day. I have had a stroke, a seizure, and a blood transfusion. I graduated from High School with a 3.667 GPA, I have am Associates Degree In General Studies of Science, and I am attending Grambling State University in Grambling Louisiana as a Senior going for my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work so I can start my own business as a non profit Youth Counselor. All Glory belongs to God!

God delivered me from fornication, partying in clubs and from a flithy mouth. I am now married with a beautiful daughter, and I'm grateful from where I came from and how far God took me and still til this day. Yesterday, I was worried because my daughter and her friends were sitting for their biophysics exams in the medical school and it’s giving them fear due to feedbacks from those that sat and failed. I was suffering from depression and I was contemplating killing myself, but in that same moment I got a text from my sister saying she loved me and attached a sermon from Pastor Mike and I watched it. I went from wanting to end my life to God giving me life. God will be getting praise from me.

Even though things might seems tough at times, continue to keep the faith; he will see you through it. He said that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Our words have power, try praising God for a month or so, and thank Him for blessing you with a wonderful job, a great opportunity one that has an amazing pay and working environment. And if I may suggest try to do it everyday and pray also at midnight. I know we don't know each other and I cannot share all I know, but the midnight prayer is one of those powerful spiritual weapons we can use. Try it and God will answer you better than you have expected before.
