Over a decade later, this is still in my top five go to videos to fall asleep. Its done so well, the audio quality is perfect (its not *too* cleaned up or overly crisp to the point of feeling artificial, it feels perfectly natural), your voice is excellent for this, the sounds of the equipment in the office work perfectly. Takes me back to my first feelings of ASMR at the eye doctor as a kid.

Who could not be happy with the quality? I probably played this video at least 100 times while going to sleep in the past few years. I love it. So perfect.

I am your favorite because I am the only one that is the real deal. I think it's a little funny that every ASMR artist out there wants to roleplay my job!!! It's fun to listen to them though!!

I never had the puff of air. That is the part of an eye exam that people HATE (and trust me, they let me know EVERY time, on a daily basis I get to hear it), so the last thing I want to do is include that in an ASMR video. You may like it, but 99.9% of the population out there doesn't.

I ain't no optometrist, but I'm fairly certain the puff of air measures your eye's internal pressure by judging its resilience to the pressure of the puff. I never figured out how it physically measures the eye's response though.

This is the first eye exam video I've seen that is realistic. Most other asmr videos of this category are made by people who would make you think they've never had an eye exam.

Why'd this video go down in the first place? Such a good video. Triggers everywhere.

Man, it sure is better than having those drops that numb your freakin' eyeballs and then having a glowing blue thing actually touch your damn cornea. That always freaks me out. The gentle puff ain' no thang. Just a little startling.

The more experience I have with asmr and the more I notice my " triggers ", I don't get it from visual triggers, I seem to be strictly voice. I only say that because I think your voice is amazing. One word and I'm in a tingle coma. Thank you for these videos.
@black0700005 жыл бұрын
Great, thank you..
@Strongheart12 жыл бұрын
Depends on if you are relaxed when you start. If you are relaxed, it shouldn't take more than a couple min, if that, to start feeling something. Everyone has slightly different triggers and preferences. However, some people just don't trigger at all.
@nintendomaniac6412 жыл бұрын
For non-video recorded videos like these, have you considered uploading in 720p? In particular, 720p gets higher quality audio than 480p (192kbps vs 128kbps).

Hah, I can imagine it being pretty funny for a real eye doctor to listen to all the asmr vids of eye exams. Probably quite cringe worthy when someone gets something very wrong as well xD
@bobbys418612 жыл бұрын
It's not an acquired skill and shouldn't take long to notice. Generally it is strongly associated with relaxation, but it goes beyond that. Try different triggers. Some people like whispering, role-play involving personal attention (eye exam, haircut, cranial nerve exam, salon, etc) or particular sounds like crinkling, tapping, brushing. I'd recommend the ASMR subthread at reddit, or just search youtube for ASMR. Don't try to hard to feel it, just relax and imagine the videos are real.
