I belive they're all named after the Disney princess' "songs" Colors of the Wind is a pocahontas song. adorable! So many gorgeous shades. How far I'll go is Moana. Reflection is Mulan. I see the light is Rapunzel 🙂

At this point I'm sure you've been told all the princess linked to the shadows so I won't do that, but i come with a fun fact! Did you know that Cinderella's dress is silver in the original movie, but it was changed to blue in the official promo lineup so the costumes wouldn't look like wedding dresses? I think that's why arabian nights does fit Jasmine (who actually does dress in blue with golden jewels) and Cinderella has a silver and not a blue.

I think they’re very pretty. I’m so glad you did this video! Some are very well aligned with the character and/or movie. However, I was disappointed with Snow White and Jasmine. A few opportunities missed by CP.

How far I'll go I think is Moana...but I am also not a disney princess expert! But...I'm pretty confident on that one :) Reflection, I think is Mulan (because Christina Aguilera sang reflection on the soundtrack) Touch the Sky I'm stumped. Color of the Wind is from Pocahontas This collection actually looks way prettier than I expected, but the colorful shades aren't for me. I love the shifts, though! Great work, Samantha!

Please nobody blast me for this but I learned from spray paint the difference between gold and Old Antique Gold? And you were correct about the strength of the yellow? Even though they are both Gold, regular gold is more cool (yellow) and Old Antique Gold (darker) has more warmth, without turning into a brass color. When you decide to have Gold as an accent color in your room you tend to learn too much about Gold. I asked my brother who mixed paints for 30 years for a living and he confirmed this, after a 30 minute lecture that included every shade of Gold available on the market? 😂 He was literally like, cool gold, warm gold, cool gold, warm gold, by brand and by name. It appears as if that applies here? Don’t blast me!!! 😂 Thank you for this video, it really helps to know which ones of these I really want! ❤️

I love when shadows can be a one and done or just another shadow in the crease and be done. I am NOT a fan of blues and greens but I still might pick up the whole set since there are enough of the ones that I will like to make it worth it.

My inner Disney Princess lover wants to buy this vault, but I already have enough palette shadows to last me at least the next ten years based on how I pan them. Maybe I can ask someone for it for my B-Day, since it’s coming up in Sept? 😅 I’m disappointed by the sheer pigment of Beauty and the Beast though since Belle is one of my fave Disney Princesses. I would have prefered they swapped the pigment level for it with Colors of the Wind. They could have also made Colors of the Wind a duochrome shade since, ya know, COLORS of the Wind. Glad they got the pigment level right with Under the Sea for Ariel.

The more familiar I am with CP, the more I wonder who’s in charge of naming and/or choosing the colors. They get some spot on and completely miss the mark with others. You can’t make everyone happy, but I think they could do much better. In other words, some make more sense to me than others.
