Hi mate, just came across your channel and subbed 👍. Nice fun videos. Got any tips for casting in a float tube, took it up in March and can't seem to get normal distances, is this just a trade off for tubing?

Hi David - it is tricky to get distance from the position you are facing from a bellyboat - but the fact is - you don’t need to cast very far as you are right in amongst the fish anyway so distance is not needed - hope this helps - Nick

@@FanaticalFlyFishing thanks for the reply Nick. I think the gopro cameras give the illusion of long distances in any videos I've seen, you've confirmed that I'm not actually doing much wrong and I can get back to enjoying my fishing again. Tight lines 👌

Sorry but could you tell me how it cost for fishing a day, is there day ticket or seasonal permit ( i have a belly boat) Thank you for your response :)

Hi Olivier, Thanks for watching. For launching a bellyboat in the UK it depends on the lake you intend to fish. Some don't allow them, others do and some of them charge a launch fee where others do not. You will need to check with your chosen venue. Either way you will need an Environment agency rod licence for Trout and a permit to fish your chosen venue. Hope this helps - tight lines!

@@FanaticalFlyFishing Thank you very much for your response, ok i will have a look on theirs differents websites. I must to say it is not easy to fish with a belly boat in England... But i come to learn it's allowed in Lake District for Windermer, Ullswater and Coniston. Even if I don't catch any pike or trout, I will at least have a sense of freedom when fishing in England! Thanks again for your help ! :)

What do you wear on your feet under your fins ?
@FanaticalFlyFishing4 жыл бұрын
Wading boots - the fins are designed to attach to them. Tight lines

Do you use the belly boat at others midland still waters?
@FanaticalFlyFishing4 жыл бұрын
Not really, I like Eyebrook as it is not too big and there is no launch fee for a bellyboat.

Hey Pal - Initially a 6 foot slow tip (Airflo) then a clear floater for the dries and when I went back to nymphs. Tight lines buddy.
