Yes since I had no iron left I traded with the villagers for chain armor for 1 emerald and melted the armor until I got a sufficient amount of iron nuggets to create iron ingots

Even without discounts, villagers are extremely efficient. Most of my worlds begin with my walking until I find a village and then not leaving that village until I'm fully equipped with a steady stream of iron incoming. I love experimenting with different trade loops with different villager jobs

I wish I did this! I just started playing for the first time on Christmas day this year. Walked for the first day collecting materials then promptly died the first night due to lack of shelter 😅 I am like 3 days away from any village on the map... My solution was to kidnap and boat 2 villagers back to my base! Worked perfectly! I now have many many villagers, multiple mooshrooms, and a kitty! 😁 Edit to include: most if not all of my success is thanks to eyecraft's videos

@@carleemilhimes9366 certainly, some worlds take awhile to find a place to settle down. Sometimes I'll walk a good 3000 blocks. When that happens I'm likely to kill 3 sheep for a bed (use flowers to dye them the same color if needed) so I can skip the night. But, I've been playing awhile now so I'm not bothered to use chunk base to find a good world to play on. Ive been playing one that's an island about 160x160 blocks that has a village, outpost, and stronghold. Was a fun challenge to arrive at the island with nothing and have to fight off illagers before they kill the entire village.

Best trades, for emeralds, I have are from Shepherds. If you unzombifie them three times, you'll get one emerald for one wool. Combined with wool farm, from this channel for example, is OP.

I started a void only world. Yes void only. Yes I turned stuctures on and I had to reset a few times before I spawned in a village. You will be suprised at how many things you can make/do with just wood and cobblestone. Also the random loot from chests. The wandering trader helps because he sells stuff so you can make dirt. You can just place moss near stone and then you grow azelia tree and boom you have dirt. Its just insane what you can do with nothing. Also mob drops are just really op if you have nothing and just trade with villagers. I have spend like 80 hours now in that world and I have so much stuff I didnt even thought was possible lol.

I did similar to gear myself up. I actually live with the villagers, making their village bigger, safer, and unique. Made a simple iron farm, with 1 zombie,and 3 villagers, and trade the iron ingots for emerald, and bought my first diamond set. Later on, just upgraded the gear with netherite via anvil.

7:08 I honestly had no idea You can convert bamboo into sticks like that. I have too much bamboo and I tossed certain stacks away without knowing I can actually turn them into sticks like that which I use a lot even in late game. The more I know, thanks! [Quick edit: Yes I was aware of bamboo wood's existance, though I thought You'd have to convert them into planks first and then to sticks.]

this is such an interesting concept! would be cool if there was a map where you complete certain courses by converting from an item to an item. could be a bit of a challenge for new players, but to those who've played minecraft for a very long time shouldn't take too long to figure out :)

On villager trading, I know there is a discount if a villager sees you cure a zombie, but can you then re zombiefy a villager to get a bigger discount? So an example would be the initial cure taking 10 emeralds off of an enchanted book, but getting it attacked by a zombie , and then curing it again to get a 20 off discount?

If I'm correct, to make a lava generator you need not just any lava above the dripstone, but lava source. So one lava bucket will not be enough.

Diamond uses right now -Jukebox -Block of diamonds as decoration/beacons -a currency in smps -trade for 1 emerald -tools and armour if early game

I don't know how serious most of those conversions are, take my comment with a grain of salt and don't hate, I enjoyed the video but had some criticisms on some of the stuff. In no way shape or mind do I hate Eyecraftmc or this video, I even liked it /g, just some points. Also, the best item conversions section I really liked. Those are really useful and good and the steps are actually necessary and make sense (and no unnecessary steps) -- Im confused about the zombified piglin to dirt. I've seen 0 zombified piglin interaction. Also technically, you don't turn dirt into diamonds but diamond armor and tools (this part is just a joke). I do think with most of this it's actually a bit overexeggrated tbh - no hate but like, skeletons to netherite? You just mine using beds. Skeletons have 0 to do with it. Yes it goes faster but it isn't necessary, since it's relatively easy to get get wheat seeds anyways, or even wheat, so that whole step is kind of redundant. And considering you literally talked about villagers before, it means that you'd already have access to a village and most likely have a lot of wheat available (and some extra beds but thats aside the point). Also isn't it technically spiders and bamboo to slow falling and trees? Like literally you use string to make a fishing rod, so you can't just turn bamboo into slow falling. Even the next point you bring up how to get from spiders to trees because of the string you use to make the fishing rod. Honestly, that kind of is a weak part. Not hating, still enjoyed it but it has some weak parts in it and some missed opportunities. Still I do enjoy your content in general, and the concept is nice, but I did think it had some weak and unnecessary parts

for netherite part, you dont even actually need sheeps for making a bed, in a nether survivial, piglins can give you strings and wood can be found in warped and crimson forests so nether has at least a few things to help you mine netherite

As long as your not on an SMP , a diamond beacon is still a major flex because apart from duping glitches u had to earn it the hard way …. Mining (& netherite also - ultimate flex)

You can also turn (Insert anything that can in the long run be turned into emeralds) then go to shepherd villager, cure him and now he gives 1bed per 1emerald (Last tier) so since villagers restock up to 2 times daily, 24 beds a day is also good

that is a longer way than how i did it. i didnt even need to leave my starting village. all you need is a basic iron farm or auto bread/potato farm and trade the villager running the thing for emeralds. take the emeralds to a armorer and boom you got a diamond set assuming you get him to the right trade level

Villagers restock after spending time at their work station. Be sure your trader is assigned a station and is able to path-find to it consistently

I think AFK charcoal is a possibility now, but it'd require tons of elbow grease: Bonemeal farm to fuel an azalea farm Azalea farm to provide logs Ghast blaster to break the logs An autofurnace, with its output line feeding back into its fuel line I want to install a ghast blaster at my base for this kind of stuff, automated concrete conversion etc but I've been procrastinating it hard. Once I have that much AFK charcoal I want to build a bunch of potato farms and have 100 smokers smoking potatoes 24/7. That way I'd have a massive XP bank comparable to the XP dupe glitch that used to define smelting & enchanting in Bedrock.
