Another tip - the colors of the two metal heads of the eyelet setter match, e.g. the 3/16 metal heads are silver, the 1/8 metal heads are gold. You just need to know which ones match the eyelet/snap you’re setting.

Oh my gosh. What a great tutorial. I have just got my crop-a-dile. Never knew about the hole you can look down from above when punching the hole. I am sure I will find this very helpful. There was no description of this in the instructions that I could find. Thanks for sharing this

The best demonstration of the CropaDile I have seen. However, none of any of the demonstration videos I have watched show how to insert eyelets with washers. Of course, it is obvious that the washer is put over the eyelet before squeezing the pliers but I really want to see how this gadget deals with the washers. e.g. does it wrap the eyelet smoothly over the washer or does it still split the eyelet to fan out over the washer as it does without a washer causing rough edges which would be unwelcome on a garment. I'm not into papercraft but want to put eyelets in a corset and other garments and sewing projects.

if you are not getting a clean punch then add an additional piece of scrap material and punch through it will then be clean every time.
