Excellent video, every time I find myself thinking "What piece is he putting in now", an anatomical reference fades in as if by magic so that I can totally follow along exactly what you're thinking and where you're going with the sculpt. Thank you for putting the extra effort in editing to show that to us.

Maybe in my future tutorial when I do the whole face I will try and remember to go more in detail about philtrum connecting to the nose. Could you please clarify what you mean by "wing of the nose goes in to the nostril" ?

@@SergeWorks 😁 I am a catastrophe the only thing I can do right is a nose and the mouth I'm making progress but my whole head sculpt looks like an alien or a mix of voldemort and donald trump 😅 I really need more tutorials haha
@SergeWorks3 жыл бұрын
Have you looked into other tutorials on youtube ? Yeah the whole head is a task in itself. What I would recommend is studying a scull not necessary all intricate details about it but the proportions and shape. Do some simple quick sculpts of extremely simplified scull, once you have that you can put features on top of it. Not sure if you have seen some of my timelapse videos but you would see what I am talking about.
@tristan303453 жыл бұрын
@@SergeWorks well I bought a tutorial that taught me basic tools and how to make a basic male head My result was the voldemort alien lol but now I watched another one and I made an eye idk if it what fruit of efforts or I just got lucky will try to reproduce it !! I turned off symmetry to experiment
@SergeWorks3 жыл бұрын
Certainly the more you practice the better you get, there is no secret sauce :) as you know. My first ever head was absolutely terrifying 🤣. Proportions/forms/anatomy/ practice/intentional practice.

how do you get your sculpts tp be this detailed? from the video i dont see you dynamesh at all.
@SergeWorks4 жыл бұрын
Hey there, I had Sculpturis Pro activated on my sculpting brushes, so when I was smoothing or sculpting it was adding resolution where needed. I found it to be really good for small pieces but you can achieve the same result with dynamesh as well just increase the res in dynamesh settings.

Hi Tahcko. Look at the top/middle, on the left hand side from the buttons Mrgb Rgb there is a Sculpturis Pro Mode icon/button (looking like a circle with a black wavy line going through the middle). It is a new addition I believe since Zbrush 2018 version.
