From Riversdale in the Western Cape of South Africa, I appreciate your insight and perspective of Africa and for that matter South Africa. Africans are increasingly believing in themselves and the role they play in the world. As a noahide, I have also noticed that traditional Biblical values are becoming mainstream. Shalom Rabbi

Yeah we bn doing the old Testament as tribal customs. Nobody needed to read these things to practice. And then here comes the Jesuit run schools that'd tell us to ignore it and imbibe some foreign customs.

Western authorities and businesspeople don't have any clue that the Silk Road operated for more than 1,000 years until the Ottomans closed it. For those in Asia, in the Middle East, in part of the Mediterranean, and on the African coast to the Indian Ocean, the Belt Road Initiative is just reactivating something that has always existed.

47:04 I grew up in a town where strangers talked to each other. For work I then moved to a town where they don’t at all and it’s really sad. It’s not even a big town/small town thing. I know of one giant and large city where it’s common for folks to at least acknowledge you and say nice things to each other. One small town where I live now not at all. So sad

When I read the the Job and his friends part on the Holistic You, I was really taken. How did I miss it? It makes real sense, thinking of life in general. Thanks Rabbi, South Africa

Seems you're glorifying colonialism. This is wrong. I come from a former British colony, Nigeria; the British built nothing and took everything away. The only infrastructure they built were a few railway lines that brought the raw materials from the interior to the ports at the coasts for exports to Britain. Most of the infrastructure were built After the British left. I wasnt born during colonial times, it was my great grand parents days but we ve read books on it and heard stories told by elders. Bottomline is colonialism benefitted the colonisers not the colonised. It brought disruption to many people and societies in Africa, and the effect is still be felt today esp with the arbitrary borders drawn between countries, separating ethnic groups and joining people with no language or cultural connection in one country. This is one of the reasons behind the civil wars in some African countries after independence Its like lumping the English, French, Germans, Italians, Russians and more in one country...what do you think will happen?

Colonialism isn't past. It's still here with us rebranded. A sorcerer doesn't need to be with u to afflict or control u. All he needs is a point of contact. All these govts and institutions are totally foreign to us.. In Kenya of all the taxes collected 30% is left for us, while 70% is shared b/w Rome, Washington and London

Why are you comparing the entire continent of Africa to other nations? It is not a fair comparison.
@EbenezerTiku
@EbenezerTiku 5 ай бұрын
Because the USA is actually made of countries that signed treaties to become united. The countries became states because of the unity. It is fair comparison.

@EbenezerTiku you correctly stated that the United States is a NATION. It is governed by a constitution and laws that determine how the NATION will operate. Alternately, Africa is a CONTINENT made up of independent NATIONS. Most, with constitutions and laws etc. We can debate this if you want, but the comparison does not compare two like entities. The comparison would have made sense if it were a comparison of the Americas- North (U.S, Canada and Mexico), Central, and South - with all nations included, each with its own constitution and laws etc. Please don't assume that I don't know what I'm talking about. Good Day 👍🏽

I like that Christianity is the first reason. It's certainly the most important and potent one if applied correctly. Every African, present and future, should seek how to be involved in growing and guarding this foundation. Our leaders have let us down because God is jealous of us looking at them for help rather than HIM.

Protest nr1. American churches are companies selling spiritual products. They are not European churches. A family run business is the norm in Europe. Exception in America.

6:00 Rabbi, Really? #1~Do you really say you're 'African American' ? How do you answer demographic and background information? || #2~I had not realized you were born in Africa all this time. What a rich cultural heritage you hold! The greatest heritage...that of Christ. I look forward to my first trip to Nigeria soon! Also, Kenya, South Africa, and Egypt...for starters 😄 This was very in-depth perspective. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences of wisdom.
