I like how you didn't just go crazy with "don'ts" it absolutely doesn't make sense when so many ppl just go nuts with "don't" and look completely drag instead of pointing out minor things that make a big difference. idk if I'm making any sense but I liked this video.

what i learnt: to put a powder base down after the neutral cream base, the glitter application AND I AM GOING TO ADMIT IT, i use to always put on wing liner after and it was always glittery and never looked professional! Thank you for these tips. What do you suggest if u get the glitter on the liner?
@litawi78698 жыл бұрын
+Miss Nicki if you get glitter on the liner you can salvage it by wiping the glitter off after each stroke. it will take some time and precision, but it beats starting over, right?!

Finally someone mentioned the fact that you can start eyeliner too soon on your eyelid! Not that you can't if that's what you like doing, but when i started doing eyeliner i had no idea why it looked strange and unflattering on me
Hi Amy, I love these kind of videos because I am at the very beginning of my makeup journey and I find most MUA's put up videos using very advanced technique's and the better they get and the longer they are at it the more likely it is that they will not do simple looks for beginners such as myself. So thank you for providing a space where I can learn I love your work.

Thank you so much for your tips! I love ALL your eye looks, and it really helps to know in detail what to do to accomplish perfection! All these are definitely really good points, good video :) The only change I would make is in what you did with your waterline. While i tightline with the same color i used for my liner (black or brown mostly), I will always waterline with a very light (slighty lighter than my own skintone) eyeliner. I use the Maybelline Waterproof Gel liner pencil in nude. You can use white as well, but i feel the light nude looks more natural. I find this makes the eye look much bigger than going in with more dark shades.

I have a few questions... 1: can't the glitter get in your eye? 2: by using glue, does it become harder to wash your face afterwards? 3: Over the course of the day, when you get that goop in the corners of your eyes, how do you clean it without messing up all the surrounding makeup?
@serenanicole43018 жыл бұрын
Delaney Kearns any makeup can get in your eye..it's called being careful?
@aariallittlecoyote34958 жыл бұрын
serena nicole or how about not putting dangerous shit on your eyes?
@delaneykearns7738 жыл бұрын
Although that doesn't answer any of my questions, I suppose that's true, but glitter is larger than regular eyeshadow, and doesn't stick onto the eyelids the same way... so yes, being careful is important. But it's still risky for those without experience.
@aariallittlecoyote34958 жыл бұрын
Delaney Kearns well why'd you ask when you just answered your own question
@delaneykearns7738 жыл бұрын
Oops, I meant to tag serena nicole in my comment above. And I didn't answer my own question. My question was "can't the glitter get in your eye?" and I wanted to know how to avoid that. What I said above was that I don't have any experience with glitter, and I know it requires different application from eyeshadow, so I was looking for some pointers on how to safely apply it. That's not answering my own question, it's essentially restating it.
