I have the Sunrise palette but I got it during the sale and it was pricey but still a good percentage off of the $65. I got my Pat McGrath shadows on sale, too. I love them and if I ever have the money to buy another, I will. They're beautiful and they make me feel beautiful. :)

Rachel Sheppard My daughter and I were talking about things like that. Even if I would wake up tomorrow and money was not an issue. I wouldn’t buy a $1,000 pair of shoes and I wouldn’t spend insane $$ on makeup. I would just buy MORE regular priced makeup!

I'm not really that way with clothes and shoes. I like to look nice, of course but I like to feel good more than anything. I looooove Natasha Denona eyeshadows. I bought a Sunset mini palette at Sephora for $25. I won’t let anyone else touch it. The shadows are creamy, the shimmers and glitters are gorgeous. Minimal fallout.

I think the Biba is the best Natasha Denona palette ever. It’s the only full size one I own. Thank you for sharing an update after wearing them both for a real “all day” wear one of 11 hrs. I’d love to see more Alter Ego reviews because I CANNOT buy the Natasha Denona Gold palette for $129! lol

I love the Alter Ego Sahara Palette. In fact, I love them all. I wore the eyeshadows yesterday, using the Mac Painterly Paint Pot as primer. I set my makeup with the Mac Cherry Blossom Prep + Prime Fix + Spray. I had the makeup on for 13 hours, and it looked as good at the end of the day as when first applied. I own the Day Dream and Goddess palettes as well and recommend them all. Since the Temptress palette is a dupe for ABH Sultry, which I already own, I did not get that one. Alter Ego will also have new releases over the next few months. Also wanted to mention the rose-petal finish on the packaging. It feels so good just to touch it and hold it in your hand.

Thanks so much for sharing! I justified one Natasha Denona palette that had many shades I wanted by the fact that $129 for 15 shades is still less than $9 per shade (i.e. well below many brands' single shadows, I'm looking at you Urban Decay) and I don't think I've seen a dupe for it yet either, but I only truly love one shade in the Biba palette and ain't no way I'm shelling out that kind of money for one shade.

Hello Zabrena! Fantastic artistry here! You created a beautiful look, and the savings is so cool, of course. For me, I’m at a point where I dislike having to work with products that don’t have the quality, also you have to remember at my age of 67 that I don’t want to move around my skin around the eyes. I’ve learned over the years to be very gentle with any makeup or skincare, and my skin has held up nicely. Thank you for the video!💕

I honestly like the dupe side (Sahara) the best. While both sides look almost identical, the right side looks nicely blended and more put together than the left side, especially after so many hours of wear! Thank you for these videos! I'd never drop that much cash on any one item of makeup when the same looks can easily be achieved with way more affordable brands. ❤

Same! I purchased the Gold palette and it was such a regret. I ended up selling it on Mercari super quickly though, so it's something to consider if you don't use yours and want to get at least a little bit of return on your investment 🤔

Agreed!!! I can't even think about spending money like that on eyeshadow!!!! Thank goodness for dupes and thank you, Zabrena for finding them and making us aware, through your videos!!! The Rimmel Crimson/UD Naked Cherry video comes to mind...when everyone else was calling it a dupe, Zabrena did the research and found a Miliani palette that was actually a better match. Everyone else on KZbin was just passing off the Rimmel palette as a straight-on dupe, when in fact it really was not!!!

I've been watching make up videos for about four or five years now and I've been applying make up for about that length of time but I still don't have your level of expertise, knowledge and experience. I didn't start wearing make up until my late 50s so I've had a lot of catching up to do and I don't have time to waste learning on my own. I worked and planned for a Natasha Dennis palate and the day I went to buy one the Biba palate was released! Yes, it was $129 but it was soooo worth it! People say they wouldn’t spend $129 on an eye shadow palate but then will got buy two or three single high end shadows for $17-$20 a pop... I’d rather pay $129 for the palate which breaks down to $10 or less a shadow! The quality and amount of product you receive is absolutely worth it!!

I have the Sahara palette and just love it! It’s a fall friendly palette, too! I don’t own Natasha Denona products as they are beyond my budget. When you have a son in college, no way! Alter Ego has GREAT palettes!! I bought the "Day Dream" pallet from Alter Ego. The DayDream pallet is pretty much an EXACT Dupe for the HUDA Beauty Nudes pallet!! I was SHOCKED because some of the Alter Ego shades were better in terms of consistency. Also, a HUGE +, it only took 3 days for the Alter Ego pallet to arrive at my door. It was shipped regular USPS.. I am SO GLAD I found this brand!!

yes, gurlll! I love my Swear by It and Modern Dreamer palettes. They're so nice. Almost the quality of my Jeffree Star shadows. Not quite but close. Love them!!! I have lots of good blacks in my ABH palettes, though. I do like a good solid black once in a while but I put it over the top of another color and it makes them easier to blend. But I see what you mean. ;)
