Eyeshadow Base goes on top of your eyeshadow Primer, and helps you get maximum color payoff and makes it easier to blend. For a no eyeshadow look you can still use an eyeshadow base in your concealer shade, and set it with setting powder, I did that in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpOTYmV_qp6hnJo

Ohemaa, thanking you letting me know the difference between base and primer. I've been a part of the cosmetic community for many years and I never knew there was a difference. This is why my eyelids start watering after twenty minutes or so. I have to try P. Louise bases.

I have a white eyeshadow base that I don’t use much. I also use a Mac concealer for my eyeshadow base. Once I master cut crease will be using more my white eyeshadow base. Great information👍🏾

Thank you so much for the explanation I have been using Anastasia Beverly Hills eye primer since it came out and I have been using that as a primer only and what I notice is is that my purples and pinks are not as bright and I'm trying to figure out why that is. Also how do I know which color to get in the elf camo concealer for my complexion in creating my eyeshadow looks? Also if I put my Urban Decay eye primer on first and then put the abh primer base over that will that help the colors pop more?
