Not to deter you from your impressive declutter, but with Adept and Natasha Denona, I like keeping them as singles in larger palettes and making my own palettes with them. I WISH that Pat McGrath and Oden’s Eye would make theirs magnetic and removable too.

I almost kept them for that reason. I never move my ND palettes around, but I do with my Adept. I may keep Plain Jane bc those pans fit the rest of the palettes. I hope other brands start using magnetic pans as well.

Goodness, you are so youthful looking! I never would have thought you'd have a daughter old enough to wear makeup. And good for you for being so ruthless decluttering palettes. I recently let go of some old Natasha Denona and Pat Mcgrath makeup I'd been stubbornly hanging onto, just because I felt guilty paying so much for makeup I didn't end up using! But I feel better now that it's gone, and I appreciate the space it cleared up.

Also last question, since you have soooooo many indie shadow formulations… would you ever do a video showing/describing what the shimmer textures/shine level are like for each brand & which types you would recommend for different people (ex textured lids vs. professional work place vs. highest shine vs. thickest vs. thinnest vs. most multi dimensional). Also which brands have the best matte color formulas (most pigmented vs. most bendable vs. most color options vs. most true to color vs. best for beginners vs. best for experts)?

I love that you’re so honest about when purchases didn’t live up to how hyped up they were in your mind! I know there have been times that I have lusted after a palette so hard for so long, gotten it, and then rarely actually reached for it… I feel like it’s got to be a more common experience in the beauty community with large collections and people just don’t like acknowledging when it happens, lol.

When it comes to makeup, eyeshadow is what I most love.♥️ I use to hoard all my eyeshadow palettes but with time I learned to declutter and make room for new or make it so I use what I love. Now that my sister and my mom are getting into makeup I have gave them a lot of my makeup and makes me feel good it didn’t go to waste.

I decided last summer to always try and make purchases if I’m only absolutely in love and I’m not even a beauty influencer and have way too much ha but I love it all !!! 💛💛💛

You did amazing! I also agree with you about setting aside palettes you want to declutter for a week or so and decide if you will miss them or not. I posted my ND Glam and Love palletes my Mercari page and right when I decided I wanted to keep them, they sold, lol. I couldn't disappoint the buyer, so I sold them, but I should have sat on them a while longer. I also rotate palettes so I can decide if I really like them and want them in my collection. ❤

😍Wow so many palettes, lots of nice ones. But just my opinion, I love my lovingly "curated" four Viseart palettes and my Glamlite Part 1 & 2. I am wanting for no others, the quality and shade ranges in just these are so encompassing and stunning. So I'd have lots of $$$ to spend on oh I dunno, a house? A Jaguar F-Type? An ocean liner? lol😁 I did go nuts and splurge on a few Rituel de Fille Eye Soots so beautiful. It's so funny how some of us just love totally opposite palettes. I enjoy seeing what people really use and love. For me I keep all my Natasha Denona and adept, because I make my own custom palettes. I actually sold the blend bunny and cosmic brushes palettes. I collect only 2 brands Natasha Denona and adept, the other brands just the ones I like. I am actually moving towards buying singles because I reach for the stuff I put together instead of palettes.

Wow that's a huge declutter! I wanted to cry whn I saw all the ND palettes you decluttered! You could pick your favorite shades and curate your own since they pop out . Just a thought. But I know the purpose eis to get rid of what you are not using. I really need to declutter, I have nearly 300 palettes but I can't ever let go of Pat McGrath, Natasha Denona, my Huda, and Adept palettes . I shld probably sell all my Colourpop and BhCosmetics, Too Faced, Viseart, and half my ABH. 😂

Oh my heart when you decluttered the bronze and amor y mariposas palettes! J/K you did a great job it’s so hard to get rid of eyeshadow palettes. Can you speak to if you prefer Oden’s eye or nomad cosmetics? I have a love hate relationship with Oden’s eye and haven’t tried anything from nomad.

I prefer Oden's Eye formula over Nomad. Nomad shimmers are hit and miss.

I've been so excited to watch this declutter ever since you teased it on IG 😆 I love your nails! I should have done mine before I filmed my declutters 😂 Oh well... I have a hard time reaching for all shimmer palettes too. My videos are always heavily edited and choppy, my dogs are super loud and always on alert 😅
