I took the wire off the filters we use for our heating and cooling unit.( It is 2 good size pieces) HEPA type filters. I never realized it was made this way. I knew I would discover a way to use it. Thank you for your ideas! My husband thought I was going nuts. Greetings from USA ❤️🇺🇸

the most ecologic way to grow plants! are you for real!? only require 2kg of plastic require in this video, if that was not enough lets use AC to make sure none of the next gen can grow plants since temp on planet is 50 degrees, I say bravo!

I wonder if sweet potatoes might grow this way… possibly without inner pipe to leave more room for tuber development? Dollar Store laundry baskets would be easy to source… could do basil tower, herbs or any leafy green - maybe even small root crops, (radish, baby beets), spring onions, strawberries! Fencing or basket holes just need to be large enough to harvest from. Great project! Put it on a dollie to move around or a lazy susan to turn if light is uneven. Inner pipe is called “perforated drain pipe” & can be found online or in hardware stores for under $15 for 10 foot section, (feeds several planters). If throw small worms in, they will travel in & out of holes, processing food scraps in tube & carrying nutrients to soil, making more available to plants. Thx much! 🌱

I think the pipe is needed for watering evenly. I wouldn't use it to compost...stink and bugs would be drawn to it. Just use a large garbage bag for the sweet potato SLIPS.

Unless it was starting to get too hot for that spinach causing it to bolt (go to seed) I wouldn’t cut it all the way down that way you could continue to get more harvests from it.

@@RobertaAdesignbyhumans there is a way to sow seeds that is less time consuming. Mix them with water and constarch and pipe them into the ground like you are icing a cake. Much faster. I start in the greenhouse - but this year there seems to be no spring!!! ruddy cold in Canada.

@@barbaracarter6726 Thank you so much! That is useful for sure, nice to learn new ways of gardening, my mum does everything the hard way. :)) We were lucky this year however, Romania was warm, we harvested the spinach already and learned that is awesome even as a salt and vinegar salad. Very meaty leaves this year. I hope you will get nice weather soon! Much Love! ♥

After you harvested by cutting the plants all off, did they grow back? Why not just take the leaves you need and let the plant continue to grow. If it did grow back, I would LOVE to know, because I think the way you grew these is just absolutely genius and I would love to try a variation of it.
