Point Lowly would've been great for you to stay at. About 8km from where you would've turned to head out to Fitzy on the highway.. amazing beach out there, light house, showers, toilets, playground.. get some nice kingfish off the rocks and boats out that way as well.. Spent many a day out where you were fishing and camping when younger. If you had've turned left instead of right coming down the hill, its all bitumised that way and some nice spots to pull up and camp. Those pebbles/rocks go for about 50km and only site in Australia that happens and one of i think 3 sites in the world.. Hope you get back over this way, if you do, time it to dive with the giant cuttlefish, which is a massive tourist attraction now and people from all over the world come and dive with them. :)

2300klms is a lot to do in 4 days towing a van with a family. i have done 2600klms in a overnight trip driving solo

It sure is! Lucky our kids are troopers and if they say keep going, that we do! Well that's making some track isn't it, We might have to chuck you in our drivers seat!
