everything that can move in minecraft is an entity. except levers/buttons because those are tiles. when you push a piston, the head of the piston and the block it is pushing become entitys for half a second and you can see because their lighting changes. dropped items on the ground - entities. arrows - entities. epearls - entities. any mob ever - entitys. player - entity. even chests are entitys, but chests are tile entitys which are different to entitys and tiles. its a mix.

Eystreem the lever trick does not work by a ladder; it works by pointing at the small gap in the corner stair then it will let you flip the lever. cuz the ladder part is useless, or you could still do the ladder part to be shore it works
