My first tube amp was/is made in Italy. It is from around 1968 and is a 1x12 combo called a Gem with EL-84's, tremolo, true spring reverb. It sounds amazing, takes my fave dirt pedal and analog delay in the front like it was meant to be. Paid $50 bucks Canadian for it when I was a teenager many moons ago from a friend who's parents bought if for their daughter to play keyboard into it I think. Just needs a routine service ;)

The Compression on that first squeal said alot to me as a high gain lover. If that isn't added in post the tone is so controlled. I love it and the delay sounded great too, assuming that's showing off the stereo fx loop? Very nice 🤟🤟

at that price, likely the only way to compete with the likes of Mesa, Diezel or Friedman is to have an own, original sound. Above a certain price threshold there's no way to compete with more features or build quality and if the amp is a copy of another, people will still go for the original. Nevertheless, good luck boys!

I was at this guitar show, believe me, this isn't a copy of anything. I mean, sure, aesthetically it may borrow some elements (i.g., the cutaways like Diezel, or the knobs like Bogner) but RedSeven are definitely doing their own thing tone-wise.

Is it just me or is the market pretty saturated with modern, full featured boutique high gain amps and reactive load boxes? I'm not trying to troll or anything but it feels, as a consumer who has spent many thousands on guitar gear in the last 5 years (ending when the economy crashed anyway; don't let the stock markets fool you, we're in for some rough times in the near future), like we're very much on the other side of the bell curve. I can think of probably 10+ amp companies off the top of my head that have extremely similar feature sets and tones; many of which are $1000 cheaper.

Hi JP, 1000$ less and the SAME quality of components are a very bold statement. Yeah, we are a small company and we don't have numbers like bigger guys, but trust me even if we will produce either 2000 amps/year, we will never be able to cut 1000$ of the finale price. There're many ways to obtain 3 different sounds from an amp as there'are many trasfos smilar in dimension but varying from 100$/set to 450$/set for example. Features aren't equal final price..there's a lot more going on, hoping you will have the chance to try one of our amps in person, soon :). All the best.

@@RedSevenAmplification let me start over because I don't want to be rude. I'm sure you're amp is great. I'm just concerned even at this price point, there is a lot of competition for a relatively small market. I'm not going to walk into any guitar shop in my area and find a new KSR Colossus, VH4, SLO, Driftwood, etc. I appreciate your confidence to just try it but my best guess is I'll never have the opportunity and I live in a major metropolitan area in the US.

We can do a head to head with whatever you want, at the end you will play whatever you like the best, no matter the price. Judging something you never tried based only on price tag is almost usless, so good luck!
